I usually don’t write reviews, but this place honestly deserves it. These people love to add money on your order after you leave the restaurant and have already paid. I was charged 34 dollars and when I left the restaurant and later when I check my bank statements, they ended up charging 45 dollars. I tried to call and clear it up and they say their “new” manager charged me incorrectly and they will continue to keep the price at 45 dollars despite me only getting a butter chicken lunch combo and veggie samosas. They added on a dinner sized butter chicken without my knowledge and when I got home I realized I had two butter chicken orders. They also charged me 3.99 for naan after telling me over the phone that the naan comes with the lunch combo. Mind you the butter chicken was hard and chewy and the last time I tried their tandoori chicken, it was raw and uncooked in the middle…. Anyways, these people are scammers trying to get extra money out of people for their mid ass food. Make sure you get that receipt and check your bag before leaving...
Read moreToday we called and ordered take out and discussed the items we wanted and the price. We clearly indicated that we did not want rice and mentioned that we want chick peas as a side order and to substitute roti for naan. Please note that roti is priced lesser than naan. We were quoted a price of $31 dollars. When we arrived to pick up our order, he said the bill was $36.00 instead of the $31 quoted over the phone. Upon questioning, he mentioned he doubled the order of chick peas because we did not want the rice, and when I said I did not need/want double chick peas, he took our order back to the kitchen and removed 1/2 of the chick peas from both orders. It makes me wonder what on earth they plan to do with those "extra" chick peas? Wouldn't it be against health regulations to now "reuse" them? This is not the first time our order was messed up and the only reason we keep giving them a try is that we do enjoy the food. But the customer service is abysmal and completely lacking and we are strongly considering never...
Read moreThis place is a scam. They charge you additional unexpected fees (18% of your bill) for “service“ which was fair at best, and still have the audacity to expect you to tip. They claim that they disclose the service charge on the menu, but it was not noticeable anywhere, and the waitress took no care to inform me about it. A bill of $84 ended up being $100. The food was decent – nothing spectacular, just dry lamb meat doused in a spicy sauce and average butter chicken. Mediocre at best. They added $.50 to a salad that was supposed to be $4.99– they never disclosed what that extra charge was for. They have solicitors come in and ask you for donations, and they do nothing to prevent that, they simply allow the solicitors to interrupt your meal and your dining experience to guilt trip you into giving them money. This is your average Indian scam business. There were flies hovering around my...
