So I've had a taste for a Giant Big Italian for a couple weeks now, JJ doesn't deliver in my area. So I got off work early to figured I'd grab me and the old lady a sub. I entered and was greeted promptly, I ordered a Big Italian and bootlegger club, add avocado spread,two bags of chips and two pickles. I payed and went to the restroom. When I came out my order was being finished (Freaky fast indeed). So as I grabbed my food and receipt I glanced over it to make sure everything was right. I said "What does BLT stand for? (I know)." Kyle (cashier and maker of sandwiches) replied "Bacon, lettuce and tomato." I said "I asked for a Big Italian tho" he replied "You asked for a BLT and that's what you got". I honestly wasn't expecting such a nasty response, I told him "I said Big Italian, you heard BLT." Kyle offers to make the sandwich over again but I declined and asked that the BLT be taken off my card. No one want's someone with that type of attitude preparing food for them. Read moreSubmitted a complaint via survey and was told by the store manager I'd be compensated a free meal. Finally went in for the free meal a couple weeks later and was told by a worker that they had 2 other customers with the same name (foolishly only put first names and supposedly last 4 digits of phone number) one person had already redeemed theirs and the other name didn't match my last 4. So clearly the manager didn't actually put my name down for compensation. Should've put first and last names anyway for verification with ID, plus the worker clearly doesn't have good customer service either because she stood there debating that there was nothing she could do even though I showed her the email I received from the manager. Do you really think I need to lie about a free meal as much money as I've spent at Jimmy John's? Could've verified with the store manager, instead I left without anything. Read moreThis Jimmy John's has gone down hill. We used to order 1-2x a week. Always showed up relatively quick. 20-30mins. We ordered in July 2018 took over an hour. Did not order for a month due to long wait. Went to order again on August. They lady on the phone argued wih me about delivering to my house.. When this exact store had delivered to my house at least 30 times in the past. I hung up and got food elsewhere. I tried this store again just recently. Oct 2018. Again they argued about delivering to our house.. Rather rudely said well get there as soon as we can.. Over 50 mins later no food. I called back and cancelled. I was not nice. Done with Jimmy Johns.. Why would anyone put a delivery store on the Allen Park hill shopping area is beyond me. The traffic flow on and off the hill is absolutely terrible! Forget about going up there during the holuday season. The best thing this location could do is move...
