This is my first visit to this restaurant as we normally prefer a handful of staple restaurants in our local area so let me preface this with that I am going into this knowing that it's heavily Americanized "asian inspired" food. I decided to get the Big Plate allowing me to try three separate entreés and a half fried rice half noodles combination for the side. The firecracker shrimp was spicy in a peppery kick type of way what you would expect from red chilli flakes and more sweet than tangy which I appreciate if I am being honest, the pepper beef tasted like run of the mill brown gravy beef you'd get from any Chinese food takeout and the mushroom chicken was a similar fair underwhelming flavor honestly from all three entreé's the noodles were plain with essentially no veggies or ingredients of any kind and the fried rice although fairly packed with veggies and eggs had all the lack of flavor of the rest of the meal. Portion sizes are really quite small, the Big Plate as they called it was maybe 2 ounces each the whole container together was maybe 8 ounces at best. In terms of value it was marginally cheaper than traditional Chinese with maybe a quarter of the portions. Wait times and service were not spectacular, was told to wait at the drive through to take my order and I accepted before I was able to tell them it was pre-ordered from their web system and the wait to be told that online orders just drive directly to the window was nearly 10 minutes, this was prior to the additional 5 minutes after pulling forward and waiting for the food to be finished whilst they took additional...
Read moreI have been going to this location for about 6 years, and it was always fantastic. Great food and great service.... However, it has gone down hill terribly. Now the quality and readiness of entrees and sides is constantly bad. I can almost tolerate the "fast food" quality decline, but the terrible customer service and overall general disrespect towards customers from the employees is something that will make me never go back. On my last (and I do mean LAST) visit I was told that a side was unavailable and it would be about 10 minutes until ready. I informed the employee that I would wait and to please take the next order in line (fyi...it was NOT busy at all). The employee insisted that he wanted to take my order. When I reiterated that I would wait, and they could help the next customer, it was responded to with attitude and a mini-conference of the counter staff leaning over and whispering in each other's ears. I asked if I had offended them by not placing my order (which was answered with laughs and smirks), and that I was just trying to be helpful and polite. Well.. my intent to be polite and helpful ended up with me waiting for the side to be prepared and then being sent to the back of the line🤔🤔. Read moreI like their food. But in the last six months they make some mistakes like wrong food or missing items,Etc. I usually never complain just eat it and spect it the next time will be okay. Today again I Oder my usual bigger plater. Doble porción of Chow Mein, kung pao chicken,mushroom chicken and teriyaki chicken. Today it happened again. They give me someone else food. All rice. Steak and something else. I decided to go back to speak to the manager or person in charge to get the right food and let the person know what happened today and before I try to explain the best I can. Since English is not my first language I’m Hispanic I talk them don’t really want to complain or get anything free. I just want let them know to prevent it from happening.
