It KILLS me to write this review because I love Chick-fil-A and I LOVE that Chick-fil-A way. Though I did not receive that type of customer service last Saturday morning. Given it was pretty early morning, around 7:45/8. There was only two more customers inside eating their meals. I brought my toddler inside. I had my hands full and needed a high chair, I was struggling to lift it up and it kind of fell to the side making a loud noise when a young employee came up and helped me. I was appreciative for him, but normally Chick-fil-A is more on top of that, but lol that’s not what gives this a one star review. I put my son in the high chair and put my food on the table. Then I brought my son back up and had to signal their attention to see if I could get a high chair mat, yes it’s called a place mat but I forgot about that for a second, cause #mombrain. So anyways, I asked for one and the girl goes “you mean a place mat???” In a really rude tone. I was like “yes a place mat! Thank you.” And she signaled one of the guys to get me one out of a drawer where all the employees were huddled around. It just seemed like I was a huge inconvenience. I noticed for awhile there was no one at the service counter but they were all bunched in that corner towards the front (typically where I’ve noticed before the employees take their breaks). They were all laughing and talking about their mornings. When a customer came in a girl would have to say “hi, sorry” and came walking up and said “what can I get for you?” I’m over here, yes being judgy like what! They don’t just stay there behind the counter. At least one of them? That’s kinda unprofessional. Maybe it’s because they were all mostly really young? Regardless, kept it to myself. I needed a refill, but no one was walking around, and with their being a line at the front and only one person behind the counter and all of the rest of them being in that corner by the table, I didn’t even see anyone available for getting refills, even if I would have walked up. I took my son into the play area and let him play. Then while walking out I reached for a purell wipe to wipe his hands with. The bin was empty. I had to go to the front. There was one new girl up there (also young), I told her there were no more wipes in the container and asked for one. She looked at me like she didn’t know what I was talking about and then said “wait what?” I was like “next to the playground - to wipe his hands.” She then yelled to a guy worker and was like “where are the wipes for the playground - they are all out.” And he’s like “there over there.” She’s like “where??” He’s came over to the desk and opened the drawer and gave her two for me. I was like “thank you.” Yet I was kind of wondering why they didn’t restock the container right then and there? Anyways, it just felt like I was at McDonald’s or some other fast food joint, NOT Chick-fil-A.
I brought up my experience with some friends and they both said, “yeah we hate that location. Not good customer service...
Read moreI came on here to write a 1-star review about my experience today and realized I already had written a 1-star review for this location years ago. I hate this location and I that it is the closest to my home - it's the only Chickfila I've ever had bad experiences with!
Today, to save time, I placed a mobile order in advance, but that ended up taking WAY more time then if I had just ordered in drive thru. They kept coming to my car to look at my phone and saying they couldn't find the order. Ten minutes into it, they told me I needed to cancel the order they would do a new one. I told them I didn't have time, that I needed to pick up my son, and all I got was a "sorry about that." Horrible location!
Previous review: Not a fan of this location at all! Today I called 15-20 minutes before I arrived and placed an order for a nugget tray. When I arrived, I was told to park two lanes over. I wondered to myself if they were going to forgot about me -- sure enough, they did. Here I am, still waiting, 41 minutes after I called them to place the order. They somehow just remembered me a few minutes ago and said it shouldn't be much longer and offered coupons. Really, coupons? I'm sure coupons will be tasty to all my employees back at the office still waiting for lunch.
Update: finally got my food an hour after I called it in, but the order was wrong! Asked for a refund or even a partial refund and was told the manager said no because it wasn't "their policy" so I went inside to personally have some words with the manager who gave me a partial refund in cash. I asked him why I had to go find him and why he didn't come talk to me and was told that the guy who was helping me was on the "leadership team" -- and why does that matter if he has no authority to do anything??
My employees were either gone or in another meeting by the time I got here with lunch,...
Read moreI think Chick-fil-A is FANTASTIC! They've held true to there core values & it shows. I've heard through News outlets that they might be starting to cave somewhat but that doesn't seem to have affected the quality of their food or service which are both OUTSTANDING!! Not only is the food GREAT, the employees will are GREAT & the Management! If anyone & I seriously mean ANYONE, who is just starting to work, just wants a part-time job, for whatever reason, they would hire you in a second if you're truly willing to work! I usually use the drive thru which is very fast, friendly service. But one day I went into the restaurant, ordered & while waiting for my food to go I was paying attention to how well the business is run and a manager came to me just to ask how my day was! That was impressive to me so I share w/him my fast food restaurant knowledge & gave him my opinion of that store. That manager & I only spoke for maybe 3 minutes when he offered me a job! I thanked him but turned down the offer. I'm disabled but je doesn't know that & told me the offer will always be there if I changed my mind. Additionally, he said "I'm always looking to hire anyone who wants a job!" Even though the business was & still is based around "Christian" values, they HONESTLY DO NOT DISCRIMINATE!! All that manager knew about me was I'm a white, middle aged woman w/restaurant knowledge. That's it!! He knows nothing about my personal life, what I believe about religion or anything else you can think of! I can honestly say it's a great restaurant, run well, fast service, nice employees...
