I canceled my membership within 90 days of joining due to how dirty this gym was - sewer flies in the showers, equipment sticky, hair/debris/trash on floors of the locker room/in bathrooms, toilets dirty/stalls not cleaned, etc. The water pressure in the showers was terrible, and there are no shower hooks for towels. Also experienced multiple instances of the women's dry sauna door not closing properly - I've seen multiple other reviews mentioning these same issues.. anyway I canceled within the 90 days, paid out thru the 90 days plus yearly maintenance fee per my contract, and was still billed for another month past what my contract and cancelation receipt said. Two managers (location manager Alycea and operations manager Zachariah) both promised refunds at the actual gym front desk in person and submitted the corresponding refund requests (they both submitted refund requests at two different times) for the billing, but apparently billing is handled by a mysterious corporate office that denies all refunds even when requested by management at the actual gym. Very disappointing experience overall, absolutely would not recommend joining this gym based on the cleanliness levels and poor customer service. EDIT: added photo copies of receipts showing: 1) initial cancelation form with proof of 90 days paid out on Feb 24th with cancel effective date 4/27 2) copy of refund request for additional month of billing requested on 4/30 after being billed again for another month without my consent, reason for refund listed by gym manager "already paid out 90 days to cancel"

Super disappointed by the management at this location. A while back another gym attendee (see photo of license plate and stay away) smashed their door into my car door causing way more damage than the normal door dings you see. I immediately reported this to Havannah, who made me fill out a paper and supposedly that paper was passed on to Keanan who was supposed to work with some third party vendor to review the video recordings and later allow an opportunity to deal with the person who should have been held liable for damaging my car that way. I should have known that this was not going to go anywhere since I was never asked where I had parked and which is my car when they were "going to review the video surveillance". Keanan passed on the responsibility to the regional manager who of course never followed up with me and neither did Havannah or Keanan (does that person even exist?). From the get-go it felt like a process that was never going to go anywhere and they're hoping as time passes by that I will have no desire to deal with it. I have since fixed my car, and park as far away as possible from anyone and everyone at this parking lot. But I don't feel good coming to the gym because I was promised something that was never delivered, not even a follow-up.

āø» I’ve been coming here for almost a year, and it’s truly been an amazing experience. All the employees and instructors are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I also really enjoy the variety of classes they offer — whether it’s Zumba, yoga, or Pilates, there’s always something fun and engaging to try. I’ve been regularly attending Zumba classes with Rachael, Carola, and JoJo — and they’re all fantastic. I especially want to give a big shoutout to Rachael. She’s always full of energy, greets everyone with a smile, and makes sure every student feels involved and encouraged. Whether she’s teaching Zumba, yoga, or Pilates, her energetic professionalism shines through. Each of her classes brings a new challenge and helps me discover areas to improve, even beyond the gym. I always end up sweating a lot, but I leave her classes feeling stronger and more motivated. Her passion and dedication truly inspire me. Working out in Rachael’s class is always something I look forward to — her energy is contagious, and she creates such a fun, uplifting atmosphere. No matter how tired I am before class, I always leave feeling energized and accomplished. That’s why I keep coming back — I’m always excited for the next session with her! Highly recommend this place !

I recently joined this gym and I wanted to let people know how much I like this place. The fitness trainers and staff members have all been welcoming and eager to help gym members find what they need in order to achieve their fitness goals here. Everyone seems to get to know each other and there is an emphasis upon being a place in which every level of fitness is welcome. This means that there are some people who might be very athletic already, while others may just be at the beginning level of a fitness journey, but all are comfortable in this place. I’ve had a great time meeting a few of their trainers and staff thus far. Keenan seems like a great manager and even remembered me after he had met me just once a couple of months prior to the time I actually finally started going to the gym. Meanwhile, Chase Adams is an excellent fitness trainer who is dedicated to the success of the people around him. That dedication is present regardless of whether those people are attending (and pushing themselves through) a group high-intensity interval training (HIIT) session that he’s leading or whether perhaps they are gym members with quick questions about schedules or equipment, or whether they have signed up for personal trainer sessions with him. He helps where and when he can as a part of the fitness center team, which has earned him many dedicated fans. I’ve also enjoyed my interactions with the staff member whose nickname is Viper, and since her name tag uses the nickname, I can never remember her ACTUAL name, but she is welcoming and knowledgeable about the various aspects of the gym that new members have questions about. I’ve also been impressed with Bobby V and his extreme dedication to working at this gym for what would appear to be more work hours than anyone else. He is also very interested in helping gym members pursue their goals. There are a few other people whose names I will likely mix up since I’m relatively new here, so I can’t name all of them yet. However, they have been amazing, as well. I’m so glad I have joined this great addition to the local community. It is truly the people that make this gym special. Any gym can give you equipment and facility space. And many gyms may boast ā€œfancyā€ amenities. However, those amenities aren’t usually going to be enough to make gym members decide to force themselves to come in on days that they don’t feel motivated. I have never heard anyone say ā€œI’m having trouble finding the motivation this week to go to the gym because it has been a stressful week. I’m glad that I like their shiny sparkly high-end bathroom and locker area as well as their bougie extra things, because that’s the secret ingredient that got me to go in at 6:40am on Monday morning before work!ā€ That’s not realistic. However, if a gym’s culture is such that there’s a sense of ā€œhey, it was a rough week but my gym peers and the gym staff show up to make good things happen, so I can try, too,ā€ then it is more likely that the people who rush to sign up at a gym in January are still coming in regularly even past April, when most of the ā€œtrendy resolutionsā€ have already failed for others. I go to this gym because their people energize me to want to do better for my own fitness goals. They are there because they want all of us to be awesome. So I can show up because I want to hold up my end of this teamwork. And I can even tell them frankly when I know I’m not at my best and say ā€œI came in because I wanted to at least try to show up even when things aren’t going to be as good as they could have been on a better day. So just FYI, today’s goal for me is just to survive and get some exercises into my day. I’m not aiming for amazing today.ā€ When I have said that, people went along with it and didn’t expect perfection and recognized the fact that I had at least come in. That type of ability to relate to what the members need….. this is what makes a gym successful, regardless of how many new and trendy flashy things a gym has. I am excited to see how they continue to grow after their...

The location is nice but the contract is unethical and the auto payments are all over the place.

We were double charged $30 the first month for a $13 membership. My 23 year old was charged $80 a month for these first three months for his $13 membership. My daughter learned there’s a $15 late fee (for her $13 membership lol).

I understand annual fees, and even late fees- but all three of our accounts were supposed to be the same and all three have been charged vastly different things. I already read the responses ā€œplease come to our location so we can address the concernā€- we have done that multiple times already. After phone calls went nowhere, my son went up there a few times trying to figure it out and I finally went up there with my husband to try and do the same. The answer is a variation of a ā€œI don’t knowā€ from a nice wide-eyes hourly worker that no one is trying to be short with because, duh, she doesn’t make the rules. The manager talked to her but avoided us. I wasn’t trying to Karen the situation with ā€œwell let ME talk to the manager please since you can’t do anythingā€ because the honest answer (from a nice hourly employee or an avoidant manager either way) will be some level of ā€œoh well. You signed a contract.ā€

We had to call the banks, report it as fraud, block all payments, and just eat it. When it goes to collections we’ll have to remember why it’s smart to read the unhappy reviews. I’ve got the money to pay out the next month and cancel and I would if I thought it would be that easy. I 100% do NOT believe it will just stop there. Based on other similar reviews, they will continue to find ways to charge.

In sum: The location is nice, the contract is questionable, the autodrafts are snakey.

So pay attention to your bank account. They may refund you if you can prove they messed up, but they will not allow you out of a contract. Which is all we wanted. If had a friend who stole my money we’d be over. Even if they said ā€œsincerely sorryā€. If I have a gym who steals my money it should be over. I have no interest in staying in a contract with an organization that has such a widespread reputation for being unethical- and yes, Crunch definitely has that reputation. I wish my husband and kids would have read the reviews thoroughly. Oh...

I would not recommend going here. This place is owned by ABC Fitness not Crunch. I found that info on my own-they keep it quiet. For 6 months my account was charged and the gym remained closed and unable to be used. I reached out to the gym so many times and was always told they would call me back and never did. I’m told Keenan is the head manager there. He’s young and honestly doesn’t seem to care what his members do. He’s told me many times he would call me and never did. He’s dodging my calls now too. He said he would call corporate to get me a resolution to the billing and always just wants to blame corporate. So I called corporate myself since this has been going on for months now with no resolution. This is how I found out this gym is not owned by Crunch. According to corporate, they’ve been trying to reach Keenan to get this resolved but he’s yet to respond to them either. Again, he’s just a young guy in a big position which he shouldn’t be until he learns about customer service and doing his job. Looks like we will be switching gyms-I’m sure they don’t really care. They have plenty of members since you can get in for only $10 a month. Another reason why you should choose a gym that may cost more because you get a better experience and better customer care-but it’s worth it! Bye Crunch aka ABC Fitness. I’m posting the phone number here for corporate. The gym will not give it out and it took a lot of leg work on my part to find it. I’d like to save others the headache as it seems in the other reviews I’ve read that people are having the same issues as me. Corporate number is eight hundred six two two six two nine zero. Update: I spoke with corporate yesterday. They informed me they have sent multiple emails and phone calls to the gym in Allen and have received no response back. They will give it a couple more days and will then proceed with a refund. This gym in Allen needs a new manager. Keenan does...
