We've lived here 3 months and I honestly have no complaints, except one. Our upstairs neighbors are possessed by demons it seems. Now, I've lived on every floor imaginable in many different apartments, but what we have experienced is straight out of Amityville. Normally I would politely talk to them to see if my exorcism powers worked, but because it appears to be a single mother raising 3 kids, I have abstained. But I'm not kidding you. Its 2 boys and a girl and there have been times I've been tempted to call the police because the girl is screaming like she's being killed. I thought I was overeacting until one day the banshee is screaming while people are walking along the apartments downstairs and hear her. They were freaked the F out! There are many good shops here as well as the center across McDermott. I go to Quick Trip often. Among most (if not all) gas stations, they have the best coffee and donuts. BUT even better is the food from the kitchen. I gave up fast food 10 years ago. From here, there's no going back. That's QT's greatest feature. Their food from the kitchen is real food, cooked on site, just like you'd cook at home (and better than my cooking.) Other fuel stations have kitchens, but none compare to QT.
