Target — Local services in Allen

Had one of the worst Target experiences at this particular location. Came in there on Wednesday May 3rd in the afternoon to specifically buy handheld fans that another Target told me they had in stock. I was purchasing handheld fans for a gift bag my job was providing for their employees. When I arrived to this location and explained to an associate what I needed, they seemed so annoyed and bothered to help me. I spoke with 2 other employees to locate the items and they were not any friendlier and if not more rude. Basically I was told they had the fans but they didn’t want to get them from the back because they “couldn’t” and I had to come back in TWO days and MAYBE they would be available for purchase… what?? Never have I ever not been able to purchase something that was in store but “unavailable” because the associates were too lazy to get them from the back for me. I will never shop at this location again and I advise the same to whomever thinks about going here. Other Targets are better, bigger and...

This was the first Target I ever went to as a kid. I remember back then it use to have the neon that lined the store. I remember running around the cloth section with my mom and hiding in the middle of the cloths racks. We went here a decent amount because Allen did not have a Walmart at that time or much shopping at all.

When I got older I remember this being one of the first department stores I could walk to. I still have and sometimes use a really old game controller I got from their.

I still shop their today sometimes when I am in the area. I’m surprised its still around considering Allen has both a full sized Walmart and Super Target. Shop here all the time and love this store. Usually under staffed on the weekends. This past weekend I shopped here and was standing in line for a long time when an employee (don't know his name - he was tall and young) told me to go to the Cafe to checkout since I had 3 items. So I went to the cafe and there was no one there - I waited and no one showed up. Finally another employee saw me and told me to go over to guest services and she would check me out. Once she was done, I went back to the cafe because I wanted some of their popcorn and the tall young gentlemen employee came by and gave me a $5 gift card apologizing for sending me to the cafe where I had to wait even longer than I would have in line.
