Never had a bad experience at this GameStop before and I shop here for all my games, but if youâre going to sell protection on controllers advise your customers it comes with accusations when trying to exchange the product. Or explain better that it must be half eaten by your dog to qualify. Joseph 705693 needs some customer service training as I was not greeted when I approached the counter, I had to initiate the conversation, and he just assumed I was going to argue with him. âIâm not in the mood to argueâ was said to me when I was calm and forward with that I think the controller has stick drift and I want to use my warranty before it expires in a few weeks. Then I asked him how the protection works as I was misinformed when I purchased it thinking I could just exchange my controller before the warranty expires even with minor issues. If Joseph is ânot in the mood to argueâ then he needs to be blunt and straightforward with âthe controller doesnât qualify for warrantyâ and I wouldâve accepted that answer. Then at the end of this transaction after basically saying Iâm suspicious because the controller is well kept he recommended I get the protection plan again even though you canât come over and over again to replace the controller as the others would also think youâre suspicious. I work customer service retail also, you canât be saying those things to a customers face.    Read moreDo NOT Shop at this store or any other Game Stop store! On April 23, 2016 I purchased a $25 gift Card for my wife's nephew with my debit card. For some reason the keypad was malfunctioning and the sales clerk told me to keep trying because they had been having problems all day with the keypads. After 3 or 4 unsuccessful tries, I asked my wife to try her debit card. It didn't work either. The sales clerk moved us to another keypad and my wife's card worked. Later, I discovered 3 separate $25 charges to our bank account. To make a long story short, after a month and a half of getting the run around from Game Stop, a Supervisor told me that they didn't show any extra transactions at their store. They refused to do anything to fix my $50 overcharge. I am furious!!! I told them that they should have an "out of balance" situation that day because of only one gift card leaving the store but 3 charges. They said there was no problem at their store and again refused to do anything else to resolve the situation. Game Stop either has a terrible accounting/inventory system, or they have an employee who is stealing from customers. Either way it is a terrible situation and I will never go back here or shop at Game Stop again. If you value your money, I would recommend no one else shop at Game Stop either. The product I purchased wasn't up to the quality so I went to return it and buy a better one. Despite have the receipt warranty and the box they told they could not take it back even though the day previously they told me the opposite. They bold faced lied to me just to get me to purchased the warranty. I took a video and will be in contact with corporate beacuse I called befor I did the return and I was already getting a vibe that they were going to screw me. The employee that lied to me and sold it to me in the first place is named Abraham. The customer they said he couldn't help me in any way name was colton (pretty sure he was helping someone eles when the exchange happen) and I might be wrong about this one beacuse I don't have the name or any knowledge of the other guy but I'm pretty sure the manger was next to him when Abraham lied to my face. All I know is he kinda had some attitude with a customer on the phone over reddit or something. The main reason I throw these details in is to let you know that this is a very real thing that happen.
