I have been a regular customer at Yumilicious and have loved their selection of tart yogurts, liked it enough to not mind paying the extra 10cents per ounce they charge than the neighboring yogurt places until the experience I had on Sunday, August 5th, 2012. I am so completely disgusted that it is safe to say that they have lost my business for good. My friend, young son, and I were sitting at a table eating our yogurt and watching the Olympics when a couple came in and while pulling out 1 pink cup she let about 6 or 7 cups fall to the floor. Did she pick them up? Of course not. She just went through the yogurt line and left them there. My friend and I decided we would see how long it took someone to actually pick up the cups off the floor and throw them away because people's disregard for manners just drives me crazy. 21 people went through that line and didn't once bend over to pick up the cups and throw them out. Instead they walked past them and in 11 cases kicked them with their shoes around the floor. An employee with dark hair, a young girl, came through and we thought she was going to clean them up but that is not what she did. She scooped ALL those nasty cups that have been kicked around the floor and sitting there with hair and who knows what else on them and PUT THEM BACK IN the cup rack!!! So whoever was unlucky enough to come into line next would have some dirty gross cup that has been kicked around the floor for the last 30 minutes. I called her over immediately and said "You just picked up those cups off the floor that had been sitting there for 30 minutes and have been kicked around by 11 people and put them back with the clean cups?" and her response? "Oh I didnt know someone kicked them thanks" and then went and removed a few and tossed in the trash. Are you SERIOUS? You didn't know that taking trash off the ground and then putting it back on shelf for people to eat out of is not a good idea? On top of all this I have tried since Sun to reach the franchise owner and no one will call me back. I am told by the employees he has no voicemail and they will take my info and have him call me. I am sure he never gets the message and so 3 days later I still haven't heard from anyone. Trust me when I say if someone is willing to do something this gross in front of a store FULL of people what do you suppose they are willing to do when no one can see them??? I for one don't care...
Read moreCame with my friend and her kids, the second my friend walked in the worker at the time ( she refused to share her name knowing sheâs in the wrong she was workinh Monday at 1:30 pm) was very rude to her. Kids get excited for ice cream itâs normal!! The worker rudely told her to hold her kids⌠she was obviously letting them choose their flavors, from the distraction her kid got a spicy flavor on accident. We asked to get him another one, she said we have to pay for it ( which is fine) the child was sitting waiting ( as requested by the worker) and the mom went to let him try the flavor. The working ran and started aggressively yelling YOU NEED TO PAY YOU NEED TO PAY. And she told her i am he just wants to make sure he likes it. It was so embarrassing and everyone was looking. we are never coming back! Mind you 50% of the machines were melted and some not working⌠this is not how you run...
Read moreI've enjoyed every Yumalicious I've been to. This one has a good selection of flavors and toppings. It is a great dessert stop and hangout spot.
However, I came in 30 minutes before closing, and the worker behind the bar really seemed like he was ready to leave. I don't blame him, it was getting late. But without even a greeting, he began putting tongs away before we could put toppings on our yogurt and just handed us spoons. Then as we were checking out, he never asked me for my phone number to receive reward points. When I asked him if I could get points, he said it was too late and that I should have told him before hand. I feel that it is the employee's responsibility to remind customers of benefits and etc. Which in turn benefits the company because you are making customers happy. Don't let my one bad experience deter you from going...just don't go before they...
