Restaurant Las Palmas — Restaurant in Allentown

The women who serve at this restaurant are rude and don't own up to their errors. The restaurant is extremely tiny! If you're Claustrophobic, DON'T ENTER!! I paid for two lunches. When checking my food, before paying, there was a lot of rice and a tiny piece of chicken. I made the woman server give me a larger piece. She had the nerve to remove the chicken and put it in another container and put the meat for my nephew in my container, in which she never gave me my arrow con gandules! I paid 24.50. When I had the chance to eat my food, there was no arroz con gandules! I called to inquire about the matter. I asked to speak to the manager. Of course, there was none available to handle the matter. I spoke to the two women who did want to admit, to their mistake. Mind you, I paid for two lunch specials. I was in Bethlehem, so i was too far but willing to drive back. However, they were so rude that it raised my blood pressure! I did them a favor for not showing up because they would have been wearing the hot, arroz con gandules!! When and if you choose to do business here, make sure that the server puts what you're paying for on the plate. Make sure you tell them specifically what you want on your plate and if they don't listen, just leave the restaurant. They need your business. Not the...

I'm only giving one star because I had to choose one. If not I wouldn't have chosen any! As a customer it was a really bad experience. I ordered two sandwiches and one of them was made wrong. When I called to let them know, the employee that answered the phone was asking the other employees about the sandwich while on the phone with me. It was and argument back and forth between us three it was very unpleasant. I had never experienced that type of customer service ever! At the end the employee told me "Well she said she made it right and we're not replacing it, you can bring your sandwich and we will add lettuce and tomato" I told her are you kidding me I live 30 min away I'm not going back! She said ok then have a nice day! Till this day I cant bealive this! They could of made it better for our next visit but they didn't and it's sad because their sandwiches are good. Very racist, if you aren’t light skinned hispanic. yet i still ordered food from them after noticing how we were being treated , but what confirmed it was their interaction with other hispanic customers, as they came they were greeted with smiles and conversation etc . Those people served us warm food and after eating it my family and i got sick. vomiting diarrhea etc... they were given an opportunity in america and they should be thankful , if you do not like americans they could’ve kept their business and services wherever they came from. how can you be an immigrant and racist to they people of that country?? would not recommend this...
