Unfortunately our 2 favorite Jason's Delis have closed permanently so we had to order from this one today. I ordered a smokey Jack panini and a club sandwich online for curbside pickup for 12:16. My daughter parked in the very front to -go space right in front of their window on time. 3 other to-go customers pulled up after her (my daughter watched each one, not one person got on their phone and called the restaurant), but yet they received their food before my daughter, who finally had to go inside at 12:55. Our order had been sitting on the counter and the woman said they were busy and did we call. We've ordered many times from our local Jason's deli, they do not instruct you to call nor do they print that in the confirmation e-mail. They have a vehicle description and you park in their dedicated spaces, which, as I mentioned, was right in their front window as they could plainly see. Our sandwiches were nothing but cold mush by the time we got them. I decided to call the manager, Monique, to give them the benefit of the doubt before I gave a bad review. She again made excuses that they were busy (the restaurant was almost empty) and offered a refund. She told me the amount would go back on my card minus the tip. I said I was not going to pay a tip and she literally said to me, "WE DON'T WANT IT ANYWAY". I hate giving bad reviews especially now when restaurants are really struggling but if you can't make an effort and have a bad attitude on top of it, then you deserve a bad review. I'll be watching closely for my...
Read moreI was really disappointed with the Jason's Deli on Northpoint Parkway in Alpharetta, Georgia on Tuesday. I ordered a Deli Club Sandwich and a bowl of Seafood Gumbo and it was an awful experience that cost me $18.25 with me drinking ice water rather than a $3.99 soft drink or Tea. First the Deli Club Sandwich was tasty, but the sandwich maker applied way too much mayonnaise. The ingredients for the sandwich kept sliding off the bread due to the amount of mayo she used. Then they decided NOT to give me the customary potato chips and dill pickle spear that normally accompanies a Deli sandwich. I had to get up from my meal to ask the Hispanic table server for what I had paid for but didn't get. She didn't speak English that well, but I got a tiny bowl of broken chips, but still NO pickle.
The Seafood Gumbo was delicious, served hot and contained a helping of white rice. But they failed to give me any crackers. I guess they are trying to cut back on expenses. Too bad for the customers.
When I walked in there were about 5 tables that needed to be bused, but eventually a guy came out of the back and cleaned them off. Bad management and no supervision. It was about 15:30 to 16:00 hrs (3:30 pm to 4:00 pm) when I was there. Hope this helps you decide on...
Read moreThis is a nice place for Vegetarian and Health Conscious out of towners who like fresh taste and an assortment of options!
The salad bar is rotated midday and the fresh selection is worth the complement of the available soup selection which has a vegetarian alternative as well.
The sandwiches are piled high and you can add fresh fruit if you don't mind deli chips or even fresh vegetables.
I used to go for the chicken salad (which had pineapple) on toasted croissant with leafy lettuce, fresh tomato, and honey mustard for a light entree with fresh fruit as my side. If it felt "too cold" I would do the soup and sandwich combo with "the chick", a seafood gumbo and no rice. If it was "too filling" I used to substitute the fruit for the soup.
Last time I was here I went for the Pollo Mexicano a large potato that is filled with chicken, sour cream, cheddar cheese, butter, and probably more!
Aside from soup, sandwiches, salads, and potatoes they also have pasta!
If you need a vegetarian menu or you want to do lunch for the health conscious this is a...
