Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Amarillo

The staff are nice and the food is good. The only complaint I have is their delivery drivers are always parked in the closet parking spots in the evening. The first 2 parking spots on either side of the door are handicap spots then the next 2 spots on either side of the front door are always taken up by the dominos delivery drivers. Then the next parking spots are in front of other stores in the strip mall. Delivery drivers are not even just in and out, we live nearby and order all the time and the delivery drivers are ALWAYS in those closet spots and are always there the entire time we’re waiting for our pizza and still there when we leave so it causes all the customers to always have to park in the spaces across the parking lot or down further in the dark. We don’t have fancy pizza bags to carry our pizza, bread, drinks, plates, napkins, etc. to our car and customers are usually in out simply picking up their pizza and go so I don’t think all the delivery drivers should be able to take up all of the closest parking spots. At the very least they could have their delivery drivers all park on one side of the door to at least leave one closest parking spot open for a customer on the other side of the...

Update: changing my review to 1 star because I just checked my account and thought my bill was 38.00 I was charged about 15.00 for extra fees. I don't understand how you charge a delivery fee and not give that to the driver doing the delivery. I feel bad for the drivers. Cause I'm not paying extra. If you charge me a delivery fee that must be for the driver.

Positive: only gave 3 stars because they deliver it themselves and don't leave it up to the overly pri ed grubhub. Also because their prices are still less than other delivery pizza places. Negative: the new tator tots are not as crisp as they advertised. Only the outside edges are crispy. It's still a fried potato. And with toppings there's no way it can stay crispy. Years ago (aprox 15) when they made a come back by reinventing their menu and pizza topping quality they were great. Then over the years they have seriously sucked again. Ordered with group of coworkers. I ordered 5 cheese pasta bowl. Ordered arrived promptly but when I opened it about an hour later, there wasn't even enough pasta to cover bottom of the tin. Coworker who ordered chicken Alfredo had full bowl that looked great. Mine had not even half of what hers had and it was dry and burnt. I could see bottom of tin. In fact when I picked up box to open it and get my pasta I thought it was empty if that tells you how skimpy they were. 5 cheese? Where? Pasta? Where? Paid $10 for this chappy dish after tip and fee.
