I always love going to Jason's Deli. To me it is an assault on the senses. The colors, aromas, tastes and texture of all the "freshness" is energizing...and that is before I order or eat anything. As an example, I do not like iceberg lettuce except to add bulk or texture to a salad, so they have options like a spring mix full of romaine, radicchio, greens, etc. Then they have toppers that aren't just "fat bombs" -- and it's all fresh and very well maintained. The bowl they give never seems large enough! I went back to the salad bar (purchased with my sandwich - the Caprese Panini) a 2nd time just to load up on Mediterranean treats like Olives (the kalamatas are a great touch), hummus, roasted and fresh peppers, etc. By the time I ate that, I had to pack my sandwich up to take home for another day. Then the end of the salad Bar. OMW, the little mini muffins are fantastic. Not sure what the dark brown ones are, but they make a nice desert. And the 3 seed crackers make a great vehicle for the olive tapenade I made at my table and the red pepper and artichoke spread on the bar! If I had any negative things to say it is only that the Caprese sandwich could use a splash of acid from a balsamic reduction, that much mozzarella needs a spark, even with the pesto. And the day I was there, they were out of vanilla ice cream. That is so small a thing though. Plus, even though I am not a fan of chocolate ice cream, their's was so deeply flavored it almost tasted like a dark chocolate.

Jason’s Deli is one of the only places in town to get a reasonably priced healthy meal. By far the best salad bar in town! I got the salad bar the other night and I was so pleased to see that they even had quinoa added to the selection! I told management how happy I was about it and they said they will serve it as long as they can get it! (supply issues are still running rampant for restaurants) My mom got a roast beef sandwich with with au jus and it was packed with meat. The man across from us ordered a pastrami sandwich and I couldn’t believe the amount of meat that was on it! Seriously, it seemed like way too much food for one person. My husband got his favorite, which is the California club and it’s perfect every time. I love that they have gluten-free options and they are happy to substitute or change things for you. What made this visit even better than before is that they are now doing live music on Fridays. How awesome to be able to listen to local music while dining here! The staff is always friendly and this location is always super clean. The service is quick and I have no complaints whatsoever. Jason‘s is always an easy suggestion and there’s something for everyone here. Never have I said, “Let’s go to Jason‘s“ and someone has said, “Nah.”

I've been disappointed the last 3 times I've ordered delivery. I paid $15 each for two muffeletta sandwiches that hardly had any meat on them. It was less than half the amount of meat that is normally included. I also requested a couple of cups of Au Jus to dip my sandwiches in. They were not included in any of my last few orders. I wouldn't even care if I was charged extra for them but they just refuse to include them or contact me about additional fees if I must pay for them. I used to work there years ago. The order is neither complicated or unreasonable. The Jason's deli on Coulter would get my order right even if they sometimes charged me for the au jus but we moved and the store on Wolflin is the only one that will deliver to our address and they have gotten this same order wrong EVERY SINGLE time. Pretty disappointing for a $70 order. We will just have to drive clear across town to coulter if we ever want to eat Jason's deli.

While dining in for lunch, all salad bar orders have to be made by an employee for social distancing reasons so I was given a list to choose everything I wanted and 3 items were missing. Not a big deal and requested these again. However, my friend's order was completely wrong. He has an avocado allergy which he asked the cashier to leave off and it was noted clearly on his receipt. After 20 minutes, his food finally came out only to find avocado on the sandwich. He returned it and took another 10 minutes to make only to have a new sandwich with the wrong bread brought out and the server indicated "here is your sandwich with no avocado." Guess what was on the sandwich? Yes, another avocado! My friend then asked to speak to the manager about a refund. The manager didn't ask any questions about the experience or what happened and promptly gave the refund. The end. Jason's - Thank you for the safety precautions and I understand the speed of service is somewhat sacrificed. It's the horrible attention to detail and lack of service excellence that left us completely put off especially for someone with a food allergy. Most all of my prior Jason's Deli experiences have been completely the opposite. Please...
