I am going to try and keep this review as professional as I can so that anyone looking to join the gym can decide based on the facts of my personal experiences and observations. I was not asked to write this review by anyone, but I could not in good conscious leave without giving others the information they need to make a smart decision. The pros of the Training Room: Large turf area Even when it is busy it is pretty empty. The staff are absolutely incredible. The coaches that I spoke to and worked with were knowledgeable and professional. The equipment is in good shape and working order. The new manager has been awesome and has been working extremely hard to resolve the issues the gym has. He has been put in an extremely tough position and I do respect him for what he has had to deal with. The cons of the Training Room: Holiday hours have been poorly communicated in the past (this has gotten somewhat better, but if you miss the sign on the front door, you are SOL) The nice large ice baths that worked were removed and the new ones are not working. I hope they have been fixed because they do look nice. The sports therapy they offer is not good. Their chiropractor refused to do chiropractic adjustments on me and instead wanted to do physical therapy exercises. I do not have a problem with being recommended other treatment methods, but the work he did on me and the exercises he provided did not help me. After two visits I gave up and decided to work with my coach and other professionals. YMMV but the sports therapy portion of your membership is not worth it in my opinion. I would not trust this individual with any of my friends of family for care. The owners of the gym do not seem to have a united concept of what they want the future of the gym to be. When we first joined the gym (and brought a substantial amount of equipment with us that a lot of their other members and classes used) there were talks of building a field house, getting new equipment, and improving the recovery facilities. None of this has come close to happening after about a year and a half besides the above-mentioned ice baths. There has been a mass exodus of the coaching staff which the owners refuse to do any self-reflection about and instead believe everyone else is the problem. They wonāt change your pricing if you are a signed-up member, but if you try and bring in a friend to work out with you good luck getting a straight answer on what a membership costs. Rather than acting professional when members leave it appears the owners would rather spend their time typing snarky replies to their new honest reviews, blaming everyone except their own poor policy and business decisions.
If you want a gym to work out alone or with a buddy where you will probably never have to worry about waiting for equipment, then this might be the place for you. In my option it is an expensive gym for what you are getting, but if you can afford it and it is worth it to you, then do it. If you are looking for a facility where you can work out with a team and a coach where you can create and keep a good culture, look elsewhere. This is not where...

Pros: Evening childcare workers are wonderful, they made sure my son felt cared for. My class trainer made sure I was learning new movements correctly and would make sure to tweak the program for me so I could work through an injury and through pregnancy and come out stronger. First time going to a gym and feeling like I could actually be strong (all thanks to my class members support and our coach!) Front desk knew who we were and would always greet my family upon entering. Trainers always were friendly.
Cons: Poor communication with staff on multiple occasions. Management didnāt communicate with staff on multiple occasions which leads to a few issues. When I first signed up I was met with staff who didnāt know what the pricing was and had no idea how to work their computer system. I had to call in a few times to get a direct answer on pricing for the gym (as it is not updated on their website or on Instagram), after getting pricing for my class membership and signing a waiver, I was told I had not signed the waiver, so I signed it again. Then a few days later I was told that I wasnāt signed up and had yet to sign the waiver- which I had twice at this point. We had been told they were moving everything to an app (check in, payments, childcare sign ups, etc) which we thought would be great and streamline everything. During this time we tried to sign my teenage brother up for 2 weeks of classes so he could train for a competition. We were told it was definitely doable, but when it came time for actually paying for it, we were told that they yet again were unsure of pricing because they were told that things were moving to an app and prices were changing but were not given those prices from management prior to management leaving on vacation. Staff seemed embarrassed to not know what the prices were but also were trying to work with us on getting him signed up. We had been told initially that my husbandās membership included childcare and we had been paying for it (or at least assumed we were) for over a year. In the last two weeks we were given a call telling us that we would have to pay an extra fee to continue using childcare because we werenāt signed up for it ever. Childcare knew who my kid was and had been scheduling him, so we felt blindsided by this.
This along with some other things (including high pricing $160/month/person with technically no access to towel service or showers (according to our contract)) led us to conclude our time at the training room.
We drove 30 minutes to and from the gym everyday because we respect our trainer and enjoy what they had to teach us. The moment our trainer left to a different gym we decided there wasnāt any more reason to stay and are following them to a new gym with higher hopes for staff...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came here to delete my first review from a couple years ago. But instead I will leave it below for comparison. Not much of what I said in that review rings true anymore. As of 4/2024 when I left, there are no group classes, no movement preschool. They moved facilites so i dont know how the new one is, probably great. But when new management came in everything just felt less like the community environment we loved. I was "grandfathered" into keeping my membership level/ perks without raising my fees significantly. But the new management felt it necessary to take that away from the 20 of us who have been there for 4+ years, giving us the option to negotiate a temporary bargin or be transferred to the same membership status as new members (which would take away the daycare and and sports med I was utilizing, while increasing the cost. It would be about triple my grandfathered negitiated price to keep my benfits). This and the fact that it wasn't the right fit for me anymore, I left.
Trying to not have hard feelings here by just walking away. Best of luck to everyone. I'm sure this gym will be an awesome fit for some people.
ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW:
WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY. I have tried many gyms so I have a lot I can compare to.
As a gym, this facility itself this place is a gem; the machines and unique training equipment, the space, and the lack of crowds and lack if meatheads is all amazing.
$They have group classes too. The HIPE classes are similar to what I have experienced at a crossfit gym, these are offered daily.
$CHILDCARE IS INCLUDED! There is no tv in there, the babysitters engage with the kids, it's not overrun with children and the childcare hours are very generous. THERE IS EVEN CHILDCARE ON SATURDAY so my hubby and I can workout together. And they have a "movement preschool" progam for my little one included in my membership.
$I have also been utilizing the PHYSICAL THERAPY INCLUDED IN MY MEMBERSHIP! And guess what, I get a PT massage while my little ones are in childcare. I never would be able to see a PT, or afford it otherwise.
The philosophies driving this place are great. Aside from all this the people are very personable as it's a small community, no gimmicks or hidden fees, the locker room is nice and and the location is very...
