I’m usually not one to leave reviews, But the fact that things just kept getting worse, I feel like this deserves a review. I used to come to this McDonald’s to let my kids play every single Thursday with my best friend and her two kids. I went in tonight and ordered my food as usual. I got my number because I chose to dine in and went to the play area to find a table. When we got there, there was no dinner rush. It was me my friend and one other person with their child in the play area. I like to sit in the back up against the wall because it’s a little bit quieter than the table that’s right in the middle next to the play place. (Which we had to use the whole night) When I went to the corner booths They were covered in a spilled soda on the floor. It was kind of in between both the tables so it made it hard to use either of them. My daughter thought that was the table we were using and ran right through it with her bare feet and then had sticky feet. I went to the front and I told them about the spill. A girl came out, got the caution sign, and put it right on top of the sticky soda. She looked at me and said “ Someone will get to this when they have time” Mind you, they are not busy. Well, about five minutes later I look up At the register and I see that my food is sitting there. Every time I’ve ordered dine in they’ve delivered it to my table, so I was a little confused, but after two more minutes of waiting, I decided I would go look at the receipt to see if it was mine. It was my order, but it was missing the sweet-and-sour sauce that I added to my order when I placed it on the kiosk. I kinda lean in behind the register so that the back can see me and I see three people sitting in a circle, Doing absolutely nothing Besides talking. Mind you, they said they couldn’t clean the sticky stuff off the floor because there was no one to do it. Also, the soda station was filthy. There was like three abandoned drinks, two spilled messes and garbage everywhere. There were like three tables in the front that were just loaded with people’s garbage. Anyways, I got my stuff and went back to my seat. I went to fill up my drinks, and I noticed that there was no carbonation. There was a group of boys that noticed it too, so they were going to ask the people in the back so I thought perfect, it get fixed I came out and asked them what happened and he said they did nothing. Now I understand that they probably couldn’t do anything because it had to do with the carbonation and maybe it really was broken. But the way that it went about was really weird. I ended up going up and asking them and they said all of the drinks that are not carbonated are just fine. They didn’t offer to try to check the back soda machine to see if it worked better but I asked if that was a possibility. The girl said sure, and just told me she would get me a new cup and go fill it up. She asked what are you drinking? I said Dr Pepper. It literally took like over three minutes for her to go fill up that drink in the back. I have no idea what was taking so long. Anyway, she comes out with the soda and looks at me and says “ Did you want diet?!” No, So I had to wait there another couple minutes to get the correct drink.. I just felt like the staff felt that it was more interested in hanging out and chatting with each other then working. It’s very disheartening because like I said I faithfully came to this location every single week for months. I definitely I’m going to take my business to other McDonald’s even if I have to drive a little...
Read moreOur burgers came with the wrapper itself dripping, the burgers very obviously soaked in oil and the bun was wet . My son opened it and looked at me asking why his burger was wet. I brought it up to the counter and the empoyeee and the manager ( I didn’t ask for the manager- she was just already there) were very rude- to qoute : I came up to the counter and in a very normal sounding voice said “hey my son just unwrapped this and they are soaking in oil, is there any way we could swap these for new ones?” At first he was like no that’s just how they come, and I replied- we’ve come here multiple times and have never had our hamburgers dripping from the wrapper with oil. Then the manager was snarky and dismissing that anything was wrong with them, that it was just from the grill…… obviously the oil is from the grill…. That doesn’t excuse it coating the finished product you give to the customer. ( didn’t say that) I did ask however for them to be replaced again, they said fine, and while I was walking away the manager remarked loudly enough to hear in the lobby about me complaining…. I looked back and told her it’s not complaining if you notice something obviously wrong with your order and act calm, rationally, and with no malicious Karen attitude to simply have it righted. It’s not complaining to ask to have edible in soggy from oil food…… In the end the manager said “I was just explaining that we have to CLEAN OFF the burgers because of complaining” ……. So they cleaned off our burgers…. But didn’t get new ones…. What exactly did they clean off the burgers with? Like … I’m so curious …. Hopefully they realize these burgers are for my 4 year old son and not me… 👀. Anywho…. Yeah it was a bazar experience. I feel like any other employee and manager would have just been like “ oh dang yeah they are obviously soaking through the paper covering the tray as well, let me get that fixed” instead of creating a very uncomfortable situation……. Any who me and my social anxiety self feels like I have to make it clear- I was not in anyway being a Karen- I had a genuine concern, asked for it to be righted , and received rude and snarky responses…..
I have photos… but can’t see where to...
Read moreI order from the mobile app a bit and today I decided to get me and my niece someone from McDonalds cause she likes the toys, well I go on the app and do my order and use one of the deals which is still valid, I pay and then once I get there I tell the lady my code, she misheard me and said “are you sure you put in a mobile order” and this is where she first pissed me off cause I was looking at the mobile code on my phone and I said yes and said it again and she misheard me AGAIN till I said it again and did the “A like Apple” thing and then she said I couldn’t get my order due to “conversion failure” which I have no idea what that is because I don’t work for McDonalds so I’m sitting in my car confused as hell because I’m thinking “am I not going to get my food, am I going to get a refund?” And so I ask her again and she said the same thing then she goes quiet for 5+ minutes, the people behind me are pissed and get into the other line and she then says something about we could still use the deal, which again I’m still confused cause I paid for my food so I said sure then she goes quiet again and I’m sitting there starting to get frustrated at the lack of communication and so she comes back and is like what do you want to order, like hello? Did you get my issue fixed? Are you going to explain to me what went wrong? Am I going to get a refund or are you going to steal my money? So I give her my order that didn’t have the deal on it cause before she said we could still use the deal so I assumed my deal was already in her system with my new order I was about to put in. So then she asks me something about the points and my niece was talking to me so I said “whatever at this point” and she snapped at me to go to the first window, so I go to the first window and they say my total and gave me no option for a receipt and when I get to the 2nd window they hand me my food and it didn’t have what my niece wanted, so to take away from this is McDonalds don’t communicate anything to their customers and love to steal your money, and my niece was very heart broken that she didn’t get her happy meal,...
