Culver’s — Restaurant in Ammon

2nd edit: after returning for a second attempt, the food was much better. It must have been an off day the first time, the food had the right amount of sauce this time, everything had flavor and tasted fresher. My burger was good, the custard is always good. Their chicken tenders are pretty badic, probably geared more for children, but they were good! The cheese curds had much better flavor this time, I would still call them motzerella-style sticks as real cheese curds have more bounce and squeek when fresh, but im glad to remedy my negative first experience. For a restaraunt that boasts about being dairy and cheese from Wisconsin I was expecting the cheese curds to be great, honestly arctic circle and dairy queen have better cheese curds for less than half the price. Everything looked high end and classed up, but the quality was McDonalds or lower. I wanted to like this place too. The photos make the food look good, it wasnt. I normally hit the drive through & have been through multiple times, everytime has been wonderful. Yesterday (5/16) we decided to go in to sit down. That was the biggest mistake. We sat outside & waited 10 minutes for our food. The front cashier who took our order was extremely short & snoody with us while we ordered. The same lady who took our order brought it out and said our large cheesecurd would be out in less than a minute, not acknowledging outer custard we ordered too. After another 15 minutes my husband went in to see where it was at, as we were done eating in which she replies "you have an order number still on your table, we will bring it out to you." We grabbed one kids attention who must have been working the drive through, and he went in to check on our missing items. 5 minutes later he handed my husband a medium cheesecurd & said he would get someone to put more in the fryer & it should be done in about a minute. We ended up leaving without our true "large" curd, because who has time to wait for over 30 minutes for something that should fry up in less than 5? Plus the fact we were forgotten about? I won't eat inside ever again. We had high hopes as we dont enjoy the Culver's...

The inmates are running the asylum. Ordered a simple ice cream. Stood 5 feet from the counter and was ignored for 10+ minutes. Even though the order was "to go" they made me take a number "so they could find me." Over ten minutes and they were not busy. Watched employees and a manager joke and laugh with each other while I stood there. Finally asked. They had made my order and put it aside and forgotten about the guy standing right there at the counter for over ten minutes. Oh. And the waffle cone was served upside down in a cup. What?!?!? Wasn't even good. This is my third time at a Culver's. Each time in a different state. Second horrible experience (last time was very similar to this one).
