Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Anacortes

After all the hype I had been hearing about Jimmy John's I was severely let down. Not only was the food a let down but the service left a terrible impression. It was our first time going to Jimmy John's so we asked for a moment to look at the menu. Every 10 secs the person at the drive thru would ask if we were done yet (didn't ask if we were ready and was very snappy). When ended up ordering 2 16" subs (which wasnt even cut in half??). We got to the window and it took close to 8 mins for someone to even come to the window to take our payment (I work at a drive thru place and yes although making the food takes a little time you should always let the customer know they aren't being ignored) For a place that boasts a "freaky fast" motto i expected less wait time than 20 mins total (which doesn't sound long but when your sitting in a car after being told 10 mins ago that it would be just a quick second... well) The sandwich was very dry couldn't find a single drop of mayo. The saving grace was the kickin ranch. All in all I'd rather stick...

I don't know why I keep trying this location. Perhaps it is the belief that it can't really be as bad as I recall from the last time. It is.

I have yet to have my order correctly delivered. That is a problem as I often intend to eat my sandwich at the ferry line, and by the time I discovered the order is wrong, it's too late.

There is something desperately wrong at this location. Perhaps they hire substandard employees and fail to provide adequate supervision and training. How hard is it to make a sandwich? Apparently it is beyond the abilities of this lot.

It also appears that the concept of fast food is beyond them. No one should have to wait 20 minutes in a Drive-Thru. Yet this is a common experience at Jimmy John's in Anacortes.

Corporate Jimmy John's should do a serious top to bottom review of this location. It isn't doing good things for the image of their franchise.

Great sandwich, quick delivery 5/15/23 update I made an online order today and I was sadly disappointed. I ordered a lil john and a regular sandwich combo. I asked that they both be cut in half. I got a full sandwich and half of a lil john sandwich. When I called to ask where my other 1/2 sandwich was I was told they ran out of bread so they put it on a half a regular 8inch bread. That was NOT the case it was still the smaller bread, just cut in half. I am not sure if the person I was talking to didn't know what was done with the sandwiches but in any case I got charged for the sandwich that I didn't get. The food is pricey. The delivery is also costly since I am so close and then to not get what I ordered AND to be told something that totally wasn't true is very disappointing. I am not impressed! I guess I will just take my business elsewhere. BAD FORM...
