First time ordering here. There are fish images on the menu and there is no notes saying what you get may not look like the image. Then I expect I would get what the dish image shows. The result is totally different. I ordered some rice rolls where image shows sea weed inside the rolls and the food is sea weed outside the roll. I went to them and politely feedback this. They say that is what the California roll looks like and acted like I was making a fuss. I eventually changed to another dish. The price diff between two dishes is exactly 0.5 dollar(previous dish costs 7.49, the later one is 6.99). Again I did not know where the cashier lady learn the math, saying the diff is close to half a dollar, she gave me half a dollar. Are you kidding me? Stop acting like you are being generous. She again said that she did not asking me for tax! I paid tax for the previous higher price dish. It’s me that did not asking you for extra tax refund! I remember the price diff. She even quibbled that there are many restaurants where dish image shows different content than what you actually get. NO! You are the first one I ever meet! Wrong is wrong,...
Read moreCame here to order takeout since it’s not far from convention center and it wasn’t too busy around 5:30p. Since they’re short staffed, I ordered and paid on their order station as you walk in. There are limited tables and seating inside.
The food comes out in order and it’s only the owner and a helper in the kitchen in the back. Apparently you can also order ahead and not have to wait so long. I’ll try that next time :)
FOOD WISE: The rolls were freshly made and were decent along with spam musubi. However, if you don’t finish and want to keep the food for next meal the rice is very hard to eat. The (Not too rosy) Rose Ttkeokbokki was heavy on the bacon taste and more soupy than anything I’ve had before, but the rice cakes were good. Chicken Katsu plate was also what you’d expect.
Prices were decent for the area and not overpriced. Of course you can get more for your buck if you went for other fast food options but this was not bad.
PARKING - you can turn into the hotel and tell the valet staff that you’re there for Mama Katsu, and they allow you to park on site until you’re all done since it’s the hotel’s...
Read moreWish I could add a photo but unfortunately can't figure it out. Definitely a 5 star establishment. I took a break from Disney this is about a 5 min walk from there. I went for lunch and luckily it was actually open before the google hours said it was (be sure to just check-open sign was lit!) I ordered the Ttebokki it was the best I've ever had and I've had a ton! Definitely not as good for leftovers so eat the same day! Highly recommend you splurge on the cheese for it. I didn't and I regret it but it was still delicious. It was so delicious I went back the next day for the Chicken Katsu which was AMAZING and such a huge plate(this one heats up well). Both times I only waited about 5 minutes if that. Owner is so so kind and very helpful if you need suggestions! I will be coming back every time I go to Disney! Don't...
