Have you stayed at Del Sol Inn? It definitely gets points for being so close! #disneyland #disneylandcalifornia #delsolinn #anaheim #anaheimcalifornia #anaheimhotel

This place has a location that ROCKS! So close, just a quick walk to Disneyland and California Adventure. The staff seem very friendly and trustworthy. Also very responsive to simple needs. Truth be told: we left some valuables and incidentals in our room by accident after checking out- the staff kept them safe until we realized and returned them to us 18 hours later. We were so grateful. They are awesome! If you stay here, you’re not going for luxury. Aside from the lack of luxury, this place really can’t be beat given the location (if it’s location you are after). It is likely the closest accommodation to Disneyland, minus the one right next door. Location is awesome!!! The parking lot is small and tight, and costs a bit of cash, but given the location and proximity it may be the best value in the area - seriously. It is MUCH closer than any of the Disneyland parking lots, and costs roughly the same. BUT VERY LIMITED NUMBER OF SPACES. Plan ahead. The rooms were clean. It is clear that the towels, pillows and furniture are beyond their useful life. Towels are so old you could swap them out for 100 grit sand paper (except they do absorbed more water than actual sandpaper, and they are not actually scratchy- just using hyperbole to describe how rough they are due to age). The pillows were also fully compacted and seemed to be water proofed (maybe they get a lot of bed wetters). If they just purchased all new fresh towels and new pillows, this place would be vastly improved. Lights were an issue in the room. It’s just bright all night in the inner parking lot, and this light cannot be fully shut out from the room. The parking lot lights seeps past the blackout curtains and from under the door. My family slept fine, but it is noticeable. The nightlight in the bathroom is motion sensored, and it’s a dark green. It kept flickering all night as my family rolled around in their beds. Eventually I just shut the bathroom door, but it did add a bit of Halloween ambiance, just a little distracting and creepy, but cool the day after Halloween. The only truly negative thing is that I booked a room that sleeps 7, this place clearly only slept 6. So it was a bit tight, but we were able to make it work by doubling up the smaller children in one of the bunk beds. We did love it though. Aside from these suggestions for improvement, this place is uniquely amazing for the location alone and this price. It is clean and comfortable enough (just barely), and the location is so amazing it’s worth more than it would be if it were located in some far off location.

If you’re heading to Disneyland, you truly can’t beat the location of the Del Sol Inn—it’s like having your own FastPass to Main Street. The staff? Absolute gems. From check-in to every valet I passed, they smiled, greeted me, and made me feel genuinely welcome. A little kindness goes a long way, and they nailed it. I loved that the property is set back from the main road—just enough to feel tucked away. And let me tell you, the “Secret Garden Stairway” (my name for it, but you’ll see what I mean) feels straight-up magical. Honestly, it became one of my favorite little quirks of the stay. The room was clean and comfy—nothing fancy, nothing tragic. Just right for a park warrior like me. I stayed seven nights, and housekeeping wasn’t the most consistent, though I suspect my schedule was part of the problem. Now, the downsides: Trash cans. Oh, dear sweet Mickey Mouse, the rooms come with what can only be described as “water bottle-sized” bins. By day two, I felt like I was building my own Disneyland attraction: Mount Garbage-more. Please, Del Sol, bigger trash cans. My corner pile was beginning to rival Space Mountain. And about naps—every true Disney-goer knows the legendary mid-day nap, the one that produces a puddle of drool and feels better than any ride. Well, you can forget it here. The housekeeping carts race down the hall like they’re auditioning for Mario Kart. The thunder of wheels over concrete and the bed-shaking vibrations could wake Sleeping Beauty herself. All in all? Four stars. The kindness of the staff and the location save the day. But please—bigger trash cans, and silencers for those carts. Do that, and you’re on your way to five-star magic. ✨

Del Sol Inn Anaheim: A Practically Perfect Disneyland Base Our recent stay at the Del Sol Inn Anaheim proved to be an excellent choice for a Disneyland-focused trip, balancing affordability with a truly unbeatable location and outstanding service. While some aspects of the room were decidedly no-frills, the overall experience was overwhelmingly positive. From the moment we arrived, the Del Sol Inn impressed with its accommodating nature. We were thrilled to be able to check into our room super early, a huge convenience after an early morning of travel. The thoughtful touch of cookies upon check-in was a warm welcome, and the availability of luggage storage was incredibly helpful on our departure day. The location of the Del Sol Inn is, without exaggeration, perfect for Disneyland visitors. It’s incredibly close to the parks, making it easy to walk to and from the gates, saving precious time and money on transportation. Beyond Disneyland, the inn is also ideally situated near a variety of food and entertainment options, providing convenience for meals and activities outside of the park. Stepping into the room, we found it to be very clean, a non-negotiable for us. However, it's worth noting the showers had very average, low-pressure water, and the shower curtain, unfortunately, was dirty. The beds, while serving their purpose for a night's rest, were uncomfortable, suggesting an area for future improvement. If you're seeking a luxurious, "bougie" hotel experience, this might not be your ideal. However, for a place to simply lay your head after a long day at the parks, the room is perfectly fine and functional. What truly elevated our stay was the exceptional service. Having experienced many "fancy" hotels, the staff at the Del Sol Inn consistently demonstrated an awesome level of professionalism and kindness. Dealing with multiple different front desk associates throughout our stay, every single interaction was positive; they were all incredibly helpful and genuinely pleasant. Their accommodation of our request to extend our stay for an additional night, and their effort to provide us with the best possible deal, was truly appreciated and showcased their commitment to guest satisfaction. Beyond the room, the hotel offers fantastic amenities that significantly enhanced our trip. The pool was awesome and impeccably clean, providing a refreshing escape. Similarly, the hot tub was a welcome treat, also pristine and enjoyable. A unique and unexpected highlight was the self-serve surf store on-site – it was absolutely awesome and added a fun, distinctive touch to the property. In terms of value, the Del Sol Inn stands out. We compared it to similar nearby hotels like the Camelot Inn, Desert Inn, and Tropicana Inn. For our dates, the Del Sol Inn was notably less expensive, making it an extremely affordable option without compromising on key factors like location and service. In conclusion, if your priority is a clean, affordable, and perfectly located base for your Disneyland adventure, coupled with truly outstanding and accommodating service, the Del Sol Inn Anaheim is an excellent choice. While the room comfort could be improved, its proximity to the parks, the wonderful staff, and the great amenities like the pool and hot tub make it a highly recommendable option for budget-conscious travelers focused on enjoying the magic of Disneyland. Thank you,...

Made reservations 6 months in advance as this is where my inlaws always stay when they go to Disneyland. There were 5 of us, my husband and I, along with 3 adult children. Looking at the website, the "kids" room photo looked perfect, 2 queen beds, and a bunk bed and offers to accommodate 6 guests. As we were checking in, I informed the clerk that we were actually down to 4 people as one of our adult kids could not make the trip. He said no problem as it was probably better anyways because they are "overbooked" and did not have the room we reserved. Why would our room be given away when I reserved the room 6 months ago? Then he proceeds to tell us that the bunk bed is not a standard size bunk bed, it is for small children and held his arms out to show us how big the mattress was. Really? I know photos can be deceiving, but anybody that looks at the picture on their website would see that it appears to be a regular twin sized mattress on a nice sturdy bunk bed. After explaining my son and daughter would have no desire to sleep in the same bed, he offered a roll away bed at no extra cost, which we had to take. There are probably 50 or so rooms in this motel, and only 25 or so parking spots, which you have to pay $8 per day to park. The 'valet' had to double park vehicles, blocking other guests in just to fit the cars in the lot. The rooms were so-so. The roll away bed was ridiculous. the 1" thick mattress was so hard. Thankfully I had brought some blankets of my own for our 8 hour drive down there, and I used those blankets to put underneath the fitted sheet (which was a queen size fitted sheet on a twin sized 1" mattress) just in order to have some sort of padding. The location was great, right across the street from the entrance. Upon checking out (we had to check out 1 night early) our bill for the 3 nights we stayed there was $394.00 That's 300 in room rates, and the rest was parking, "resort fee" (wifi) and taxes. Pretty pricey. Anyways, got my checkout receipt and headed home. One week later, there is another charge on my card from them, for $131.00. I called down and spoke to the clerk who was dumfounded why I would be charged another nights fee when we checked out. She told me to wait 5 days and check my account again as she was going to ask her manager to reverse the charges. I am still waiting for my money back. I will never stay here...
