My family came to the restaurant to celebrate a birthday. We walked in the restaurant and was seated then all of a sudden it smells like either cheese or was it mold. Now cheese and mold do not blend but sometimes parmesan cheese smells so when we asked the waiter what was that smell the waiter said I can't smell anything all I can smell was BBQ. Then we proceeded to order our food, the food arrived.. my mother ordered the asparagus cooked well done..the asparagus arrived crispy. She told the waiter about the asparagus and the waiter took the asparagus back. I saw a Manager bring out food to another table and I called her over and told her the baked potatoes on all 3 plates were cold, the ribs tasted like the were baked in the oven and my barbecue chicken was burnt! The manager took the baked potatoes back, she offered the loaded smashed potatoes & she offered broccoli. The broccoli arrived, it was well done okay that was good another order the grill salmon that was good. Then my sister (the birthday girl) ordered ribs... the mashed potatoes arrived hot...acceptable. Then my BBQ chicken arrived warm, and burnt. I told the manager that the chicken was burnt I showed her the Wing part said.."Oh my..yes that is very crispy, she offered to bring me another piece of chicken now in the meantime she's been going back and forth to the kitchen with taking the cold food back and bringing back the correct food. After everything arrived back on the table and the orders were all correct..I would think the manager would offer to do some type of adjustment to the bill. Either comp two meals, or offer a discount or maybe free dessert. Nothing was offered.. $85 later nothing was offered. I will never go back to another Tony Roma's again...especially not the one in Anaheim...I do NOT appreciate the food going back and forth and again...I will definitely tell my friends & family...DO NOT go to Tony Roma's in Anaheim across the street from Disneyland. Poor Poor...
Read moreMy recent visit to Tony Roma’s left a lasting impression, mainly due to the exceptional taste of their signature dishes. The ribs, a standout item, were a delightful culinary experience. It’s worth mentioning the noticeable reduction in sauce quantity, which I found to be a positive change. This allowed the true flavor of the ribs to shine through, highlighting their natural taste and the restaurant’s grilling expertise.
However, the service did not quite match the high standards set by the food. While not entirely disappointing, there was a noticeable lack of attentiveness and efficiency that I’ve come to expect from a restaurant of Tony Roma’s reputation. This aspect of my visit could certainly benefit from some improvement.
Despite this, the overall quality of the meal was impressive enough to overshadow the service shortcomings. The changes made to the rib preparation, focusing on the natural flavors, deserve special recognition. It’s clear that Tony Roma’s pays close attention to the culinary details, ensuring a memorable and tasty experience.
I would recommend Tony Roma’s to anyone craving expertly prepared ribs. While the service might need some fine-tuning, the exceptional quality of the food makes it a worthwhile visit. I’m hopeful that on my next visit, the service will rise to meet the standard set by their kitchen.

Read moreI came here on the last day of visiting Disneyland, And it was to say the least not very pleasant. We got into the restaurant and it looked very welcoming but Dead.. On a Friday... At 7:00 p.m... which gave a slight red flag. I ordered the short ribs and it looked like a human heart drenched in barbecue sauce which was very unpleasant to see. Now I can't lie the meat was prepared well but there was no seasoning whatsoever on the sauce so it just tasted pretty bland. Even a simple thing like lemonade tasted very watered down and when I asked for water the waiter just poured water into the cup of lemonade instead of giving me another cup. It also came with some mashed potatoes which I can honestly say was delicious and some green beans which again was not seasoned so it was very bland and also the potato soup had no flavor whatsoever and it was like eating sawdust. And to top it all off which really put the icing on the cake, I guess there was an issue with a car outside and an employee came by tables asking people if they owned a Tesla. The waiter asked the first table (fully white family), looked at my table (biracial family) and completely skipped us to go to the next table which was also a white family (like we didn't look rich enough to own a Tesla. Now im not saying somebody was racist but if it walks like a duck and talks...
