Only a two because my granddaughter enjoyed her birthday, but my grandsons didn't one to small and afraid of characters the other he likes video games and rides he can get on and neither Disney park lived up to his fun level. And for us adults who grew up going to theme parks this place is outrageously priced so this is our last visit here.
By no means are we cheap, but Disney taking folks for a ride.We drove from Northern California and this cost thousands hotel, food, park tickets, food souvenirs etc and that was a discount, the cheapest thing we purchased was the gas.
We reserved a birthday dinner at goofeys kitchen they didn't sing to my granddaughter although this dinner cost us 300 plus, they sang to others, just not this child. A Lot of biased employees at Disney .
To many workers in various areas don't like their job and are miserable and it shows, so they make sure you won't enjoy yourself or speak to patrons rudely.
Things I don't like 1 allowing drinking where children are, drunk and pushy people around isn't a plus. Rude , unhelpful, dismissive workers. In more ways than one and not just to my group, but to others as I witnessed.
3 overly crowded, but says capacity is controlled, not. People are at your feet or wheel chair left and right. If your not up for the rush and too slow like me. Forget this Hussle and bussle.
4 poor amount of disabled parking and improper explanation of where to park and no physical help as in parking lot attendant directions
5 not enough seats to take a break from walking miles through the park and or for waiting
6 Park and food over priced for what you get.
Didn't see one Disney princess And Tiana Bayou was shut down includes ride and restaurant
8 Although we have cards didn't always want to use them, beware food and some retailers didn't take cash
The good
Some people here actually like their job and were helpful and friendly. Few but they did exist
Fireworks every night are amazing, loved the display
The tram accessible from the parking garage for wheelchairs and strollers to the park and back.
Dinner with Disney cast photo shoot fun for kids and they loved the food, one exception nobody told us it's not in the park but back in the hotel so we had to back track on the tram to not be late for our reservation .
As you can see there are some good things to say, but I feel.like we were encountering way more bad than good . And for that money we could've been on a plane somewhere...
Read moreSo I love all things Disney, but I was incredibly disappointed in my last visit to Disneyland! Of all the rides we went on, 80% of the shut down while we were standing in line. The haunted house, thunder mountain, Indiana Jones, space mountain, pirates of the Caribbean, small world was completely closed down etc. its disappointing to pay so much money to gain entrance and then stand in line for hour plus just to have the ride break down. We waited in line for space mountain for 53 minutes, we were almost to the cart and then they shut it down for 17 minutes. (See photo) we didnât ever even get to go on itâs a small world or Indiana Jones. Not sure what or why all the break downs but it was very frustrating. I was also surprised with a lot of the staff. At Disneyworld every one is super helpful, but during this visit to Disneyland, they seemed âput outâ to help us. I am giving it a 3 because it is Disneyland and again I love all things Disney, but trust me I am being very generous in this rating. If you are planing a vacation to California, go to six flags instead. And save your Disney experience...
Read moreWell it truly is the happiest place on earth. We celebrated our daughterâs fifth birthday with a fabulous 4 day, five night vacation at Disneyland Park. She had the time of her life. A complete makeover at the Bibbidi bop boutique. Enjoyed a dinner and play with Elsa and Anna and then to top it all off visited all of the princesses you canât get a better birthday than that. My one piece Of advice for parents with a little ones, either bring a stroller or rent a stroller they are going to get tired. Rent a locker it pays off and bring plenty of snacks and water with you. Take your time and...
