We waited nearly 10 minutes at an empty counter to order, with no acknowledgement, despite the fact that the manager in the kitchen made eye contact multiple times. When the cashier came, he was very nice and polite. He hadn't seen us because they had him out cleaning the dining room. When I ordered, I asked to sub out one pasta for another, as it was an option on the register, the cashier said it was no problem. When the manager saw the order come to the kitchen, he yelled at the kid taking the order that he couldn't do that. He griped at him that it should have been an upcharge (that would have been no problem for me, but instead of charging me, he and the other prep person -asst manager maybe - just yelled at the kid). I thought the disrespectful way they both talked to the employee was rude and inappropriate in front of the entire restaurant.
We waited almost 20 minutes for our food. When our food arrived, it was cold. I asked them to please change it for warm food. The cashier was very nice, but the manager in the kitchen was very irritated that I brought the food back. We waited another 10+ minutes. When it finally came out warm, the food was really good.
While I was waiting for them to remake the food, a young high school girl came in for her shift. The second she walked into the kitchen, the two of them started yelling at her too. Apparently they had changed her schedule and put her down for an 11-3 shift, a break, then a 5-8 shift. She tried to tell them she is a high school student and couldn't miss school for work, but they continued to get onto her about it. She tried to tell them she had a final and couldn't take the day off of school. I told her not to let them bully her because legally they couldn't make her miss school to work. They were suddenly nice to her after that and offered to write down her schedule.
As we were eating, there was a loud group of people yelling out and roughly teasing with one another. The couple eating at the table next to us were talking about how loud the people were. The husband went to get a refill and looked around the corner. When he came back, he told his wife and the nearby tables that the rowdy group was the employees.
Overall, the food was really good, the excessive wait was inconvenient, but it was the attitude and atmosphere created by management that day that makes me not want to return to...
Read moreThis restaurant had a total of six other customers when we arrived, which probably should have told me all that I needed to know. I truly didn’t think much of it, until our food showed up half an hour after we ordered it… and with pizza as cold as your mother’s eyes when you suggest Anderson Fazoli’s for dinner.
When I set forth into the restroom, I should have just left - the smell was enough to drive someone to the Olive Garden, maneuver through the crowd to get a good parking space, and enjoy chicken parm that didn’t taste like a reheated chicken nugget on top of Barilla.
Even still, we persisted. A nice slice of cheesecake was just what I needed at this point. I waited fifteen minutes before someone attempted to see what I was even waiting on. After I told them, I was unapologetically informed by the bored teenager working the counter that they were out of that. The manager immediately piped up to publicly scold this kid for selling them if she knew they were out. Little did she know, I had ordered on the kiosk and her discipline was ill placed. The best part of my visit here was when I got to leave, after they cancelled my order.
Before I got a chance to make it out the door, an elderly woman came inside and was told that her order would be made to go because “we finna close”. This wasn’t good news for her, but it probably worked in her favor as I’m not sure there was a clean table for her to sit at.
I’m sure neither of us...
Read moreThis has consistently been the worst restaurant in the area that me and my family go to and after last night we are never going back. The people at the counter just flat out ignore anyone in line trying to order or ask a question and force you to use the kiosk which conveniently doesn't have ink to print a receipt, (at least on 01/01/2025 it didn't) After we were ignored for about 10 min we used the kiosk and went to get drinks and silverware which was absolutely not clean. So I cleaned it. Then we sat and waited over 30 minutes and not one time did anyone bring breadsticks to offer an apology for the wait or say anything. After waiting that long I went and asked for a refund and it looked like most of our food was just sitting in window for who knows how long and the young man that was supposed to bring it out said he had been waiting on something but couldn't say what and at that point I was ready to go anyway. The manager? (I doubt that store has an actual manager or they would not be ran as pathetically as it is) said my card would be credited back the $43 it somehow cost for 2 people to eat, did not give me a receipt or any proof and of course since their kiosk didn't give receipts I didn't have one so now all I have a pending charge on my card and a very disappointed young daughter who...
