Firehouse Subs Anderson — Restaurant in Anderson

May 10, 2024, 12:01pm- ordered a medium Engineer, large drink and brownie. The two people who ordered in front of me received their food around 12:30, so I stood up in anticipation of my order being ready shortly afterwards. I was told my food was 4 tickets back. I sat back down and waited, casually scrolling through my phone. A bit later, one of the workers asked my name and looked for my ticket. It wasn’t found, nor was any food waiting. I was told to go back to the register with my receipt and the cashier went looking for my ticket. Again, not found. A man I assume to be the manager said her heard my name called, but no one else seemed to, especially since nothing was found. Thankfully I still had my receipt, and they finally made my order. I walked out of there an HOUR after placing my order, despite several other people ordering and leaving in much less time. I realize it was a busy time, but not owning up to a mistake is ridiculous. The manager said “next time he’d make it right” but how’s he going to remember this event in a few weeks? If the food wasn’t delicious, I’d be saying I’d never come back. Just know that you either need to order online, or be prepared to wait.

July 22, 2023, 2:28pm- ordered a large Engineer on wheat, no Mayo. Received the order and went home to discover they made a Hook and Ladder despite having Engineer on the receipt. Should have expected as much seeing a much more youthful crew working on the weekend instead of the older crew I usually see during the week. I placed a $35.00 order tonight 11-13-22 through the firehouse app for pickup at 6:50pm. As if the Wait itself wasn't long enough, I get home and EVERYTHING in the bag was not right or just completely wrong. I'm beyond irritated. It's been a long day, hence the reason I decided to pick up my families dinner for tonight from firehouse instead of cooking myself. All I did was pay Firehouse $35.00 I didn't really have, just to give us food we didn't order & completely ruin our supper for the night. Now I'm out the money I gave firehouse, and still ended up having to spend more money and still cook , because my family didn't eat the food that was given to us and I don't have the time nor the money to be driving another 15mins BACK to Firehouse to wait forever again to get my original order corrected and drive another 15mins back home. I'm now just extremely tired , still hungry and so aggravated, I could go through a brick wall. I use to Love our local Firehouse and even though it's a little pricey, I didn't mind paying for it because of how great the services and food was. But this is becoming a Recurring & Unacceptable Bad habit for the Firehouse in Anderson, SC. I'm beyond over it, and I don't believe my family will be making the choice to go there anymore. Get it together Firehouse. It's subs, not rocket science!

A very Disappointed & Dissatisfied...

literally the worst service ever . i’m not one to complain as i work in the food industry as well and i know it can be stressful, but this anderson location has SUCKED recently. the past FIVE times i’ve ordered over the phone they have forgotten all of the extra items i’ve asked for even after me specifically saying pls don’t forget . today i placed a pick up order & the lady answered the phone very rudely, and just said “hello”.. no introduction. i wasn’t even sure i called the right place . upon arrival , i asked for extra pickles , meaning the pickle spears that come with the subs. for some reason this confused them.. and the lady went to ask her manager about extra pickles, i nicely piped up and said “just the pickles that come normally on the side please”, in an attempt to clear up what i wanted so she didn’t have to get the manager involved , as it was a simple request. she then VERY loudly and VERY rudely , in front of the whole store , says “EXCUSE ME CANT YOU SEE IM SPEAKING TO MY MANAGER??!!!!” .. i was so embarrassed! she acted as if i was complaining or something.. i was just trying to help her clear things up! it drew attention to me immediately and it was so uncalled for. something needs to be done about this, and past experiences. l will need a...
