Was in town to view the eclipse and decided to try a local place instead of a chain. The price is around the same as chain pizza buffet places (Cicis, Steve B's). The buffet area is a bit small but still a good number of pizzas to choose from. I would have liked a bit more variety instead of say three different types of pepperoni pizza though. The pizzas were good quality though and it was clear that they care how their pizzas taste. I also like how they don't waste dough on large flavorless crusts.
They also had spaghetti and some sort of alfredo pasta. Both weren't bad but not exactly great either. I wish both were a bit more flavorful.
My main complaint is with their salad bar. I know I know, salad at a pizza buffet? Who cares right? Well I do like a good salad. I did not like the lettuce that's shredded for like a burger. Way too shredded. I also did not like how they have so many salad dressing choices instead of more salad options. I saw those olives on that pizza. I know they have olives. Why aren't olives an option on the salad bar?
My main complement is their server. I do not know who was the server but she never let my drink cup dip below 80% and she knew what I had to drink too. It was almost too much attention but I realize that's a silly thing to complain about.
All in all, just add some more veggie options to the salad bar and this place would be perfect. I'm sure Anderson is lucky to have a place like this. Sure beats my local chain...
Read moreOkay an order was placed for six pizzas the complaint was never that they were cold i don’t care about cold pizza I will eat it cold, yeah the order was placed at 2:15 doesn’t mean I left with the pizzas at that time , they take time to cook even tho they weren’t cooked properly, the complaint was that the chocolate chip was undercooked and the pepperoni was lightly cooked on the bottom, a remake was asked for not a refund until the young boy there decided it was okay to talk to a customer like a toddler that’s when a refund was asked for , the best part of his interaction was when he said “I’ll be making pizzas for the rest of my life “(his words not mine) “ these are perfect I’ve made 40 thousand pizzas” okay and that’s not what this is about it’s about serving raw food , we use be regulars here until the chicken ranch pizzas gave us salmonella poisoning and it wasn’t from at home because we handle raw chicken and a complaint was filed with DHEC. Your response to the review is probably why the CHILDREN that work here think it’s okay to berate customers who have any type of issue!!! Also don’t worry about saying to not come back because I won’t when I can go the 15 minutes into Pendleton and get better service from little Caesars or guys pizzas!!!! Also the young boy that says he’s manger here is most likely your kid and that’s why you are admit to defend him! All of this would have been known had you replied to the review with “hey tell me more...
Read moreOnly reason they get 1 star is because i cant give 0. My wife ordered our pizzas. She went up there to pick them up and before she left the parking lot she checked them. The pepperoni was cold along with most of the other pizzas. She took it back in there and was going to ask for it to be remade but the young little boy manager in proceeded to speak to my wife like she was 5. He told her she didn't know what she was talking and he knows there's nothing wrong with the pizza so eventually after he droned on for 10 minutes she finally just got our money back. There was no apology, no let me make it right for you nothing. The little kid who managing is highly unprofessional and needs some manners and a firm lesson in customer service. I don't usually like writing poor reviews but I draw the line at making women cry. Thank you for reading.
P.S. With the answer that is posted below my point has been made. Buyer beware if you do business with these folks rather your experience is good or bad, right or wrong they will not give the customer service nor the quality or consideration your hard earned money deserves. I apologize for making this a little longer but thought that this employee's answer below warranted a response. Again thank you for taking the time to...
