My boyfriend and I have always gone to this Wendy’s because of its proximity to the mall, and its proximity to my house. It is in the middle of my work commute, and I work at 7:30am. I checked the app to see if ordering was available and it said that it was, so I placed an order to pick up my breakfast. I sat in the drive thru line and no one answered so I went to the door. Their hours say 7:00am opening, and 6:30 for the drive thru. It was 7:08am at this point, and the door is locked. If I hadn’t mobile ordered, I would just turn and leave, but my card had already been charged— and I don’t eat at Wendy’s because I’m rolling in money. I called the store’s number, to which I received no answer the first time. I couldn’t cancel my order on the app, either. I tried to call again, and a lady picked up who continued to speak over me and tell me they weren’t open until 7:30. I tried to explain that that’s fine, but the app and the door said they were open and my car had already been charged. She wouldn’t listen so I just hung up, and tried to call the customer service line to cancel it— when I was also told I was calling outside of phone line operating hours but could email or text— which is not provided on the website. I left and went to work, and after ten minutes (7:18am) I received a phone call from the store telling me my order was ready if I still wanted it. I was already ten minutes away and needed to be at work sooner than 7:30 to open up on time (since that matters to some businesses!) and could not do a round trip just to pick up my food. She sassed me back and told me if I even wanted my food, she was just giving me an option. I really don’t want to be a Karen about this, since I worked in foodservice for quite a while until this March, and know she cannot do much to accommodate the situation at this point, but understanding that the business made the mistake and took my money because of it is important to address the issue. Read moreI just came up here for some delicious food. I ordered a 4 piece reg nug and asked they be cooked fresh and ill gladly wait. They take 8 mins I waited over 10 mins when I asked for them politely I was rudely greeted by a black woman manager who informed me to go sit down, I said ma'am I've waited 10 mins for my nugs, an I wasn't rude at all to the staff. She tells me she knows me that she's dealt with me in the drive-thru, which was only the other night and I was on foot for a mobile order, an before that I hadn't been to this location in over a year. I asked her what her name was she rudely asked me why do you need to know that, an I said because you are a wendys manager are you not? She said yea and?! Well I am here now so now what?! I said ma'am I actually came here for an interview at 3pm and the man knew I was coming and just left and won't answer his phone. Her attitude then changes, exclaiming well I didn't know all that. I said we'll perhaps you could have asked me!! I have already gotten a full cash refund on my mobile order from the freshness of my food and the mouth on the crew member named Rachel. Read moreI work across the street at the mall I live in Easley . I ALWAYS choose this Wendy’s on break and at the end of my shift . I just went through the drive thru and was treated so disrespectful by Rachel . She was very rude and acted as if she was mad at the world. I work customer service at BElk and I would never treat anyone the way that she treated me . Ticket # 3254 I LOVE LOVE their nuggets and barbecue sauce . I didn’t realize that I was I my getting one . So I asked for another one . She said they are 15cents I said sure I would love another one . Then she said I am not allowed to ring up additional food at the window . Remind you that she just took my money for my food . Being that I ALWAYS get an extra one and never treat this way . I asked for a refund bc I can’t eat it without sauce in my fried and nuggets . She looked at me like I had robbed the store . After the stare she then called the young manager over to refund me . I asked him to please sell me a sauce . He never appologized , offered , nor did he even eye contact me . He gave my money closed the cash register and walked off.
