Very disappointed. We showed up and planned to do the drive thru on our way through town, but the line was pretty long so we pulled into the parking lot and mobile ordered. Enjoyed some quiet time in the car. After about 10min went into the store. For how busy it was I was very surprised at how slow moving staff was. I stood on the marker for mobile ordering to respect social distancing and waited. Probably another 3-4 min for the staff to notice me. At this point another gentleman had even been waiting longer than me to even order. No greetings to either of us or direction. We finally were greeted. I was asked my name, and given one of my drinks. Waited for the other. After I got that I immediately brought them to the car. Luckily I started a timer as soon as I got the drink so that the tea wasn't over steeped... even though there was no direction on that from staff. The most disappointing part was when we opened the lid to take the tea bags out there was 3/4 gap between the foam and top of cup.. so by the time we took out the tea bag we have over an inch an a half gap.
Glad I paid for the venti to get a grade. The tea lattes are a rip off. If you want something good go to a place that cares about their coffee.
The blonde espresso is still over roasted as well... Overall two really crummy cups of coffee. Will be sticking to local shops in ankeny from now on. If you are an avid sharbucks style coffee drinker try Cafe Diem. Specialty is hands...
Read moreI walked in as I worked at a business less then five minutes away and asked one of their cashiers what time they closed.. I was told 830pm, my store closes at 7 so I tried to place an online order for when I was done with work as it wouldn't take long. Their online orders were closed, and when I called the lady that answered the phone told me they closed at 730. They really need to get all the staff on the same page, because this was total bull. I tried to ask if I could go ahead and give her the order over the phone and she got snippy saying "your can order when you get here" then without any warning she hung up.... this is not good customer service, this is poor service and honestly my fiancé and I will not be back to this location even if I work next to it. We will take our business somewhere else, besides 7 brew has better coffee and prices then you guys do. I will be calling the store manager as well...
