You do not want to order from this Dominos location. Last Saturday I placed an order online, paid for it and received a text saying it would be ready in 25 minutes. I showed up at the 1284 W Williams street location 30 minutes later only to find out that they never even started the order. I did express that I was unhappy and the manager said you have two choices wait or cancel. She also said stop complaining about it in the store. As I stood there waiting for my order to be cancelled three more customers came in only to find out their orders had never been started and they to cancelled. As I left the parking lot two gentlemen who were already at the store I got there flagged me down to tell me that they placed an order for their son's birthday party at 3:30pm for a 5:45pm pick up. They arrived at the store at 5:45 and were told they would have to wait another 30-40 minutes. Way to ruin someone's birthday party Dominio.
This manager was rude, belligerent and never said I am sorry we are behind(which was not the case. When I showed up there was not one pizza on the rack waiting to be picked up). Lots of people standing around. She never offered me a discount or compensation for my time. She definitely does not understand the concept of customer service, lost revenue or repeat business. This chain was built on getting food to the customers quickly(remember the 30 minutes or less guarantee).
I have nothing against the food a dominos. Decent pizza for the price. If you purchase from this store you stand a chance of being treated extremely poorly and getting frustrated because your order will not be ready. Your business and hard earned money does not matter to them.
UPDATE - I guess Dominos really doesn't want my business. A month ago I left a one-star review(above) for a terrible experience I had at this Domino's location. A few days later someone from the company that owns this franchise(Patterson Pizza out of Charlotte) reached out for more info. I emailed him my review with a few more details. He had the new General Manager for the location reach out. She offered me an apology and a credit to my account for the value of the order. She said they were hiring or retraining new staff to right the ship. I accepted the apology, thanked her and asked how the credit would work. She never responded. It has been a month since that last message. She just blew me off. I accepted their apology and was willing to continue to do business with this Dominos location. Come on Dominos it’s been a month and you still have not credited back the $15 to my account. I call to place delivery order & The manager Nicole was very rude to me over the phone, was yelling at me while I was trying to place my order. I was so upset & felt uncomfortable with the conversation so I told her I will just pull up & place the order there. Once I walked in the guy at the registered started to immediately apologizing on her behalf I was so upset about the situation because I wrongly being mistreated & I told him that there was no reason to speak to me in that tone. He did try to handle the situation but I wanted to speak to the manager and that's when I found out that she was the manager I told him I didn't want her to fit or make my food he stated that he would be the one to do so and he was going to take care of me. He apologized again I said you the one that don't need to apologize and need to be her cuz she's the one that was in the wrong. She walk pass me with a grin on her face as if she's not going to say anything I was very upset and felt disrespected. I've been coming to this location for years and never dealt with anything like this and I refuse to go back again. I had to leave before I was about to get out of character & was getting very upset so I had to leave. Read moreFriday Nov 10th at 430 from the apex location I ordered a medium pizza wings and bread. The Delivery person dropped off my order to the wrong people. Not a big deal it happens. I called told the lady who is the general manager. And she started yelling at me hung up on me. Told me to come get my own order after I paid for delivery and a tip... I finally got my pizza delivered around seven thirty after calling Multiple times asking what is going on.. The way that she spoke to me and was screaming at me; I was so afraid to feed this to my children. She was very rude and very unpredictable. she was screaming at other Customers in the building while on the phone with me. She then would not answer my phone calls when I was asking If I was getting a new pizza ... or if I can just get my money back. It was the worst experience in my entire life. She was very rude very Unpredictable. Other employees told me on the side when I was Trying to get ahold of her. That she is awful Every friday she is like this and they were so sorry. She should not be a g.manager if she cannot handle a friday night place. I am not saying it is not difficult and people are not rude. But she should not be the face of this company. You're gonna lose a bunch of business, and I hope that does not happen. I am a business owner myself. I understand the difficulties and being under pressure. however, I would never, ever ever treat a Person let alone a customer way that she did.. ever. She does not need to be employed. How embarrassing for her and the employees and work hard while being screamed and belittled like they live in an abused house.
