Checkers — Restaurant in Apopka

This was the Apopka Main Street store. Horrible customer service at the window. We were given our food on one side, then we were asked to go around to the other window for our drinks and slushies. We waited at the window for 8 minutes with no communication. I finally had to knock on the window and beep our horn and the girl prepping the fries wouldn't even look at us but I know she heard us because she made a face that gave it away. Finally the guy that gave us the food at the other window went towards the back of the store and came up with our drinks. We politely a possible told him that they could have said something to us on why we had to sit for so long. Instead he continued to take care of other customers who came and went as we sat there and waited. By the time we got home, which was only 2 miles away our food was all cold and the slushies were just liquid. My husband requested tomatoes on one of his sandwiches and did not get any and I asked for extra pickles and got 2. We paid $50 for bad service and missing items and blue colored sugar water. Also, my husband ordered a super sized fry and it was only filled half way!! I have a picture of it...ridiculous. We both feel that the employees were rude and not assertive at all, especially the girl that did everything in her power to ignore our presence. They handled our order poorly and...

The worst Checkers location ever!

I’ve had multiple disappointing experiences at the Checkers on Main Street in Apopka. On several occasions, I’ve received fewer tenders than ordered, and tonight was the worst yet. Despite asking the cashier to verify our order, we arrived home to find that the 5-piece box only had 4 tenders, which were completely raw—a serious health hazard due to the risk of salmonella, we had to trash them all. Additionally, the 8-piece box was overcooked and burnt.

I strongly advise avoiding this location.

When you call customer service to make a complaint, they never answer the phone, so customer service is also the worst.

Update (Nov 15, 2024) - I contacted customer service through the link the owner sent, so after one week I got a voicemail asking me to call the assistant manager at a number provided, but after trying several times and living a voicemail, they didn't...

On May 29,2024 I'm in the restaurant industry and I know how difficult that it can be I went to get something to eat bout 11:30 12:00 and been a lone time customer the way me and my family was treated I will never go back and will be calling corporate I ordered two medium fries and hot wing the lady she was the only lady there with a new worker and another young worker 3 in all i waited over 15 min went back after waiting in the parkinglot for my food it was never put in nor cook she was very upset and mad that i told her she completely forgot about me slam the window so hard she crack lt im the one supposed to be mad but she was madder unbelievable she can't handle any pressure and the window she broke she be out of her paycheck that's just not acceptable!!!!!!!!!I will be calling corporate and never ever go back her to checker because of her...
