Wendy's — Restaurant in Apopka

Although I don't eat processed food, I had to stop because my grandson. He ate a fish And I ate a salad. The fish burger I assume was good to him. The salad? It was ok, better than anything else on the menu. Of course nothing like home prepared GREEN salad, BUT THE CLOSEST TO NATURAL FOOD. I AM NOT A VEGAN, NEVER, JUST EATING RIGHT. I WISH I had the fortune to open a real eating place. Nothing processed food...these restaurants are killing humanity and the humans are killing themselves by consuming it...but how could we show new tricks to an old dog? Oh well, the media is doing something, and when I mean media, I meant those sort of call new chefs on Instagram and Facebook showing how to eat healthy...I applaud them for having the time and courage to do it, but that is not the solution, just part. The other side is people, making them understand what is the reality of today's good healthy meals. I have two mentors, Dr. Berg and Frank Suárez Metabolismo TV. I started by educating myself about insulin. Wow, scared the heck out of me. Then educate about your liver and functioning. Another WOW! From there, everything made sense...so no processed food carbs. I go to the market, directly to the green/ground & meats, fish/chicken basically. Now, there is a saying, you eat what you eat, some say I eat like a pig, I eat like a cow...but have you ever wondered, how the pig eats and produces juice bacon, and how come the cow eats green and produces white milk? I don't drink milk either, just wondering. So, the story is about how to educate yourself and do right about your body and health. This location has been absolutely terrible for over a decade. It is the closest location to me so I give it a chance once or twice a year, hoping that there has been improvement. They find new ways to make the experience worse each time.

Today's gripe was the nearly 15 minutes it took for them to service 4 cars, including us. Our order of 1 large fry and a small frosty was served to us without a spoon and a frosty cup that was halfway empty. The fries were fresh and hot, but unfortunately too fresh as the oil did not get drained thoroughly before they were bagged. The fry container, bag, and included napkins were wet with oil. The fries were inedible. They smelled and tasted of bad oil, as if the oil they fried in was old or had been used for fish, or both.

Over the past decade they have been unwilling to serve items as they are ordered (wrong toppings on burgers, chocolate instead of vanilla frosty, wrong beverages, etc...), they have the lowest quality standards (bad fry oil, sloppy sandwiches, dirty cups being handed out at the drive through), and continue to employ staff with the biggest IDGAF attitudes.

The staff problems have extended to management in the past. We had an incorrect drive through order which we had to drive back to the restaurant to resolve. We asked for a sandwich without mayo, there was mayo. We went inside to ask for a manager and watched as the manager opened our now cold sandwich and scraped the mayo off and then handed it back. When we insisted on a new sandwich we were told we could purchase one. We no longer chance buying burgers at this location - fries and...

Even rating it a one is too much, this place is freaking discussing. When I walked in I stood there awhile before I was greeted then a swarm of flies greeted me at also and the cashier which I think was the manager acted like the flies were not there. I ducked it up and tried to eat the food because I hadn't eaten all day and I didn't want to pass out. I've been craving Wendy's all day and it was the closest one to me at the time this is the first time I have had bad customer service at Wendy's and it's the o my fast food place that I eat from so that should tell you. 4 for 4's are my life. Now I feel like I don't even want to eat Wendy's anymore because I had such a bad experience. Wasted my money cause the food came right back up because of how grossed out I was. The restaurant is so dirty and even where they make the food is dirty there's flies everywhere the drink machine is dirty, not even the drink was pleasing to me.
