New place opened after Covid. This is the old location of Bento-Ya where they closed down during Covid. Very excited to see a new restaurant opens up. Flavor Fusions serve fusion Japanese food. Everything on the menu is awesome! I love the outdoor patio for dine-in. Yes they only have outdoor seating, no indoor. Which is nice for the weather lately around 60's to 70's. Well I can't imagine how we can eat there later in the summer when the weather is gonna go up to 90's-100's!
We order two drinks and two food this time:
Drinks: The well-known drink here - Ovaltine Volcano. Taste exactly like what we had when we were little. Sweet and creamy! Passion Fruit Green Tea - I had it less sweet less sugar. Perfect amount of sweetness and very tasty.
Food: Udon Carbonara - Very creamy and greta taste. It's just the size is smaller then a usual dish. But I think with the price you pay, this is valuable.
Ebi (shrimp) Katsu Sandwich - The shrimp Katsu is crunchy outside and juicy inside. The white bread they use is not like those store bought loaf bread. Very soft and milky.
A very cute Japanese Fusion place. Very reasonable price without lowering the quality. I would recommend this...
Read moreCame around 7pm for dinner and there was no line but there were a few people seated in the outdoor seating area. They take your order through a window and will bring it to your table if you're dining in. We ordered the Katsu Don and Pork Katsu Sando. The food took around 10 minutes to be ready. The Katsu Don was seasoned pretty nice but is on the sweeter side, while the rice is a bit soggy because of the sauce. The miso soup was alright, nothing special. The Katsu sandwich was pretty good. I liked the sauce and the katsu was crunchy. The white bread is not toasted though. Overall, the food was decent for the price and portion is very filling and worth what you are paying for. The service is nice and it wasn't crowded. The ambiance is also nice for eating outdoors since they play nice music. However, the food didn't taste particularly special so I don't know if I would come back; maybe if I am in the area and need a...
Read moreThis is a nice place to drop by to get some good and filling Japanese food. The price is perfect for the amount they give you, and the staff there are friendly and funny! They will gladly offer their recommendation for a drink to go with your food if you don't know what to get! There is no indoor dining, but there is a roof over the dine in area so no need to worry about sunburn. I highly recommend this place if you're feeling hungry! I'd say the appetizers are also big enough to share among 4 people as well, so it's so worth! The food is amazing, and I would definitely come back here when I'm in the area after rock climbing! I ordered aonori fries, pork katsudon, and a lychee mango soda, and I didn't even have time to take a photo of the fries because my friends and I absolutely...
