Ordered a pint of frozen custard Signature Turtle style and they said they can't do pints with any toppings. When Freddy's first opened they did and it was delicious. But whatever, no big deal, I'll take a pint anyways, right? Wrong. The pint they gave me was frost-bitten and packaged (or expired?) a few weeks ago based on the date on the bottom of the pint container. If they had done my pint the way I had originally wanted it, with all the toppings in it, the custard probably would have been fresh.
As for their burgers, the patties on their burgers are really thin. If you want an adequate adult-sized amount of meat you have to order a "triple" which is equivalent to an In-N-Out double. The patties have a tasty carmelization on them, but at the same time offering nothing resembling "juicy". They seem to be under the impression that giving the ultra-thin patties a tasty carmelized shell also makes it juicy on the inside, but that definitely isn't the case. Also they are much pricier than the In-N-Out across the street.
The only thing I can't fault is their thin shoestring fries which are very tasty. They don't stay warm for very long because they are thin, but they are probably my favorite fries in town. I ordered the cheese fries last time and the nacho cheese sauce they put on them kept them warmer for a little bit longer and I enjoyed them. If you order plain fries make sure you ask for the fry sauce or spicy fry sauce because they're a way better dip than plain ketchup.
Given that they messed up their custard quality standards and their burgers are under-sized and over-priced, the fries are the only things I can see myself returning for. But visiting a restaurant just for fries seems...

I was impressed with the sundae and the shake. What I was not impressed with was the . milkshake had a hole in the bottom of the cup which leaked all over the seat of our truck, all overhead a d .y dressanall over the floor mat. It was not noticed until getting out of the truck as it was in a drink carrier! Honestly, I was so surprised! After I meaned tge truck sndmyself up, I took tge milkshake inside and dumped it into a large glass and put it in the freezer. When I turned the cup upside down,I could see a hole in one of the dimples in the bottom of the cup! Manufacturer defect in the cup, or did the milkshake machine catch the dimple? I don't know, but I do know, I had a horrible mess to clean up and my hubby was angry at me for the mess! Not a good ending to a day. I enjoyed the ice cream custard, just wish it had...
