I was not impressed. We stopped while in town and took my parents to dinner. It wasn't busy as it was 850 pm on a Sunday night. We sat down, ordered drinks and starters, and the waiting game began. After ordering the drinks and starters the server came back about 10 minutes later to inform me they didn't have the things to make my long island tea, so I changed my order. We waited another ten minutes and she brought our drinks- incomplete. She was missing two waters and a soda. So we reminded them of the forgotten drinks and requested napkins. After 5 minutes a different server came with the forgotten drinks (still missing a water and no napkins) so we thanked her and requested she tell our server we were ready to order. She set out to find our server, came back shortly and said she would just take our order. We asked for napkins again, ordered and waited even longer. The restaurant closed at 10 and our food arroved ar 10:03, more than an hour after we first arrived even though the restaurant was mostly empty. To top it off, we still didn't have napkins and so asked a third time for them. The serving sizes were big but the service was slow- too slow. We had to ask other people working there to refill our drinks and bring boxes for our left overs. I get they were trying to close but we arrived just over an hour before they closed and were served our food AFTER they closed and watching all the employees rush around us getting everything cleaned up and shut down without our server really helpings us made us feel weird and frustrated. I was not impressed and was surprised as the Oregano's we frequent in the Phoenix area is not like that. Lastly, when the check arrived, they were charging us for the long island tea they couldn't make. We asked her to remove it. If you have an endless amount of time amd don't mind servers too busy to be with you, then eat here, at least the...
Read moreWe went in not having been for over 10 years. I remember it being good, but I never expected it to be so satisfying. They were slightly busy being lunch rush... it took a second to be sat, but the service was amazing. We could obviously tell that our server Nerissa had a full section and was busy, but she did what so many serves dont do, she acknowledged us, she acknowledge our "waiting" and made us feel that we were seen, important and not forgotten. That alone made the rest of the visit so memorable. And when you think it couldnt get better, not only did they have awesome drink specials (the margarita flight) Nerissa is a talent behind the bar... I was luckily in a booth that also looked over the bar, I was able to watch her make our drinks. You can tell she makes her drinks with passion and an eagerness to impress and fullfill. She did just that. Her amazing tasting flight turned into 3 added drinks on our tab because we wanted more of the creations she got to make. No employee was standing around. Everyone had a purpose and they succeeded. On top of all of that, the great Shrimp Appetizer with one of the best Wedding Soups we have had and a lunvh special that was sharable (The Big Rig) We were table touched multiple times by the Manager Robert. His obvious hapiness to be there and be part of our experience was beautiful. Im not one to leave, reviews, I believe they are simply trolls ways to vent about their inner problems, but when you actaully get to go out on a random lunch date with your spouse and you get the elevated experience we got, you have to share it. We truly felt as though we were back home in Downtown Chicago at a 5 star overly expensive bistro only better food and most of all better service. Thank you for making our lunch nearly perfection (cause no one can be perfect) but Oragenos North got...
Read moreFirst and foremost let me just say, this is the best Oregano's in the city of Tucson. I called this location asking if they can make a meal no longer on their menu, Mom's Sausage and Peppers. Goel, the manager, informed me that even though it's not on the menu they can make it. My boyfriend and I decided to head over there and give it a shot. Once we arrived this place was absolutely busy but our server Jannet did not disappoint. She took absolutely great care of us. Once I placed my order she let me know that the manager communicated with the team that I'd be going in requesting that dish. I was very impressed. Once the meal arrived, and I took that first bite, omg, it was like mom's home cooking. The chef, Neto HIT IT OUT OF THE PARK!!! I couldn't stop eating it. The pasta was cooked to al dente perfection, the sauce was hot, the peppers had the right crunch and the Sausage was delicous. My mouth is watering remembering how good that dish was. I honestly cannot say enough about the food. We met Goel and I gave her, the staff and the chefs so much praise. To me, this location is worth driving 30 minutes to. I've been to other Oregano's in town, but this one always, always meets my expectations. Aside from the food everyone was working extremely hard. As I watched them they all communicated so well and worked so efficiently to ensure that everyone was taken care of. Not only was the staff outstanding, but it was so clean. 10 out 10. I cannot recommend this place enough!! Thank you guys and once again, I love you lol!
I'd also like to add, Goel is an outstanding Manager! Professional and absolutely wonderful to talk to. Thank you for being...
