Not bad during lunchtime on a Thursday afternoon. They offer $12 lunch specials which weren't bad. The food was good, we both had the unlimited soup & salad combo. I was pleased that the soup (clam chowder) came out hot! The portion of salad (caeser) was a pretty good size. For an appetizer we had the cous cous mac n cheese balls, surprisingly this didn't come out as warm/hot as expected but we still enjoyed it. S'mores pizookie, yes, get this. Perfectly on the marshmallows, what a treat! There was an issue with the table next to us, from my own observation since we arrived they had just been complaining in general, super needy & seemed to be in a bad mood... probably taking it out on the staff. We had the same waitress, she was doing a fine job... it just seemed like they wanted things for free. They even complained about how far they drove (no one made you go there) & one of them said it was because she was black, which the manager (who came over promptly at the start of the whole ordeal) stated that he too was black (also obvious), & he handled the situation with much professionalism... as did the waitress. The entire staff we had no issue with, hostess included. Atmosphere gets docked a bit, menus were sticky, bathroom was meh. Some concerns about upkeep when it wasn't too busy. Also, at the end of the meal it's like the AC stopped working properly, it got pretty warm. Paying by QR code on the receipt was convenient though!

*Food*: Me and my partner came here late at night around 11:00 PM and ordered appetizers (Fried Calamari & Ahi Tuna Nachos) and entrees (Shrimp Scampi Pasta & Ahi Tuna Soba Noodles). -The APPETIZERS came out very fast! The Fried Calamari was delicious and crunchy, complemented with lemons slices for acidity. The calamari itself was not the freshest squid, but fresh enough. The Ahi Tuna Nachos were perfect, surprisingly the Ahi Tuna was very fresh and no hint of bloodiness, complemented with avocados, the nacho component was very surprising as s it was in a half moon shape, well seasoned, and quite crisp. -The two ENTREES came out shorty after. The Shrimp Scampi Pasta was very light, creamy, and savory. The shrimp was fresh and I could easily pluck the shrimp from it's tail to eat the entire thing. It also included a nice little garlic knot on the side. The Ahi Tuna Soba Noodles were "Enlightening" and delicious at only 700 calories or less, but had fresh ahi tuna, al dente soba noodles, healthy amount of vegetables, and a nice sauce profile to complete the dish! *Service*: Our server was very quick, and respectful! Came back around consistently with exquisite timing. Our server did a good job and gave the best experience here. *Atmosphere*: Typical BJ's, nice modern/authentic feel. Very clean, no smell, and we'll staffed.

What the hell is going on at this BJ’s?

My partner and I came in expecting a decent dinner and left feeling grossed out, uncomfortable, and disappointed — not because of the food (although that had its issues), but because of the completely unacceptable behavior of one of the servers.

We ordered the cheese balls appetizer, and when they arrived, one of them had a long black hair baked into it — not sitting on top, but fully cooked in. Obviously, we sent it back and asked to speak with a manager. While we waited (and waited… and waited — it took three separate requests), our server Austin came over to take our entrée orders.

That’s when things got even weirder.

Austin made a joke about his own “balls having hair.” Yes — right after we sent back an appetizer with hair in it, he made an immature, uncomfortable, and completely inappropriate joke in front of us. We were stunned. Who jokes like that in the middle of dinner service with paying customers? It wasn’t just unprofessional — it was straight-up disturbing. Me and my partner both felt super uncomfortable and honestly just wanted to leave after that.

Eventually, the manager came over, and to his credit, he was calm, respectful, and took care of the situation. He comped the cheese balls and offered us another appetizer, so we went with the Shrimp Garlic Parmesan, which was actually excellent. But at that point, the mood was already wrecked.

Our main dishes were forgettable. • I had the Grilled Chicken Alfredo, which was bland and boring. • My partner had a burger, which was actually really good. • The bread was rock hard — like stale, not just crunchy.

Now let me shout out the one person who saved this from being a 1-star review: LESHLY.

Leshly was absolutely amazing. She was on top of everything — super professional, kind, fast, and clearly knew how to manage a section. If it wasn’t for her, we honestly would’ve walked out. She was the only one in that place who seemed to have it together.

Leshly: The only person holding this place together. Professional, sharp, and honestly the only reason we didn’t walk out. • Austin: Completely out of line. Inappropriate, unprofessional, and made the entire experience uncomfortable. Should not be on the floor. • Food: All over the place. One great dish surrounded by mediocrity and stale, rock-hard bread. • Cleanliness: Hair in the food. That’s not just gross — that’s a total failure in basic hygiene. • Atmosphere: Ruined. Inappropriate jokes, awkward energy, and just an overall feeling of “what the hell is going on?” • Management: Eventually helpful, but it should not take three requests to get someone to care. Damage was...

Review for BJ’s Brewhouse – Zero out of 10

I visited BJ’s Brewhouse on the evening of July 29th with a group of five, and it was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.

From the beginning, our server was inattentive and disorganized. We ordered five waters—he brought back only four, and we had to wait another 10 minutes and remind him before the fifth one arrived.

When it came time to order, he oddly asked if we were ordering to-go, even though we had just been seated and made it clear we were dining in. We were ordering combo meals that came with mini pizookies, and we asked to place our entire order—including desserts—at once because we were on a time crunch. He insisted on splitting the order, but after pushing back, he finally took the full order.

When the food began to come out, it was a mess. Only a few sides or salads were delivered at first, and the main meals were missing for several people. The waiter then disappeared for 30 minutes, and when he returned, he randomly placed plates on the table, not knowing who ordered what. When I asked him which pizookie flavor was which, his exact words were:

“Y’all know what y’all ordered. Y’all get your pizookies.” Completely unprofessional and dismissive.

One of my friends ordered lemonade with no ice—it came with ice. He said he’d replace it, but didn’t return for another 30 minutes, and then told us ten minutes later, “Oh, we’re out of strawberry flavoring.”

To make matters worse, when the main entrées finally came, two members of our group never got their meals until we were getting ready to leave—after we’d already received our checks we then they got there pizzokies. That’s nearly two hours after we were seated.

I had ordered the unlimited soup and salad, and at one point had to send the soup back. It took so long to be replaced that it arrived right as we were getting ready to leave. When we spoke to the manager about everything that had happened, he seemed completely indifferent. He kept offering more soup as a “solution,” which was completely missing the point. This wasn’t about getting “more soup”—my meal was already supposed to come with unlimited soup and salad. We were asking for accountability, and instead we got a manager who clearly didn’t care.

The service was slow, sloppy, and unprofessional, and the management was dismissive and unhelpful. There was no real apology, no resolution, and no regard for our time or experience.

Zero out of ten. I would not recommend this BJ’s location to anyone, and I definitely...

We stopped in to celebrate my son’s graduation from high school on Monday June 6,2022 around 4pm. When we called the hostess said that they could seat our party of 18. Literally every restaurant around this place had a minimum hour long wait but this facility was empty with maybe two families inside. And once we arrived, I immediately understood why. THE HOSTESS was soo rude to not only us, but the party that came in after us and the people who were waiting to be seated before us. By the time we arrived we had lost one family and we were now only needing to seat 13. She was absolutely bothered by this change, huffing, rolling her eyes, and speaking very monotone. Mind you, this place was empty at 4pm on a Monday. She had absolutely no sense of urgency nor did she display a single sense of wanting to assist us or do her job. I was soo bothered by her behavior that once we were finally seated I asked our waiter Jordan (who was absolutely amazing by the way) what her name was. He told me he didn’t know but he would find out. I mentioned my distaste with her behavior and he said “yeah, she comes off like that quite a bit”. I asked him repetitively throughout our meal what her name was but he was reluctant to give it to me and in the end he never did. I asked one of the other waitresses on my way out and was informed that her name was “Z”. Because of her treatment of guests at this establishment we will likely NOT return to this location. This was a very special day for these graduates and we were not going to let one person ruin it. Our waiter was awesome and the food came out absolutely delicious. No complaints there at all. The hostess is the first person you meet when you enter an establishment and unfortunately on this day it left the biggest mark on us all. Hostess- 0 stars Waiter- 4...
