LA HECHIZERA TORTAS COOPER ST — Restaurant in Arlington

Went to this resturant this afternoon and placed an order for 1 carne azada burrito & 2 carnitas tacos...lady said it was like $16 total? So i gave her my debit card and she tried to run it maybe 20 times! Finally they call a manager out and she says that the reason they cant charge me is because i was tryn to pay with an american express card! I said well there is no sign that says you guys dont take american express! Had i known you dont take american express i wouldnt had ordered...All while the cooks in the back had my order ready and they was telling them my food was getting cold! They didnt even offer me to take the food and pay later or anything...end of the day its the resturants fault for not having a sign saying they dont take certain types of cards...then to top it all off the manager lady tells me im holding up the line and if i dont have a different way to pay i needed to go?!! VERY DISSAPOINTED in their customer service and i will NEVER...

The place was cool! nice seeing so many foods and drinks i grew up eating. Me and my family got 2 tortas, 2 fries and 3 drinks. everything was priced separately. It was understandable at first… then i looked at the torta de milanesa that i got and the meat was really thin, nothing impressive. No disrespect, i appreciate y’all. i’m used to a crispy, and decent sized piece of milanesa tho. might come again one day to see if anything’s changed for the better! for the fries we got an in-n-out portion of fries in those little boats which is ok considering the size of the main entree. Also maybe just my experience but when i went the bathroom it was locked for the entire time we decided to eat there (20 or more minutes) and we were the only people there 💀 next time i’ll just ask cuz i didn’t wanna be rude to whoever...

I hate to leave negative reviews but the food was too pricey for me not to say something. We ordered a torta with fries ($15), 3 tacos ($7), and a large horchata drink ($4). By the way a torta without fries is $13. So basically the fries and drink are extra. And all of this would be fine if the food had at least been good. Instead me and my mom only finished our flavorless food because we paid a total of $30. Also the meat in our food was barely warm and it definitely was not cooked fresh. Only thing that we enjoyed was the Horchata. But the cashier was friendly and helpful. So 2 out of 5 stars I guess. (Es muy caro y la comida ni siquiera...
