I am livid at the customer service at this place. My 82 year old father goes to the Parks Mall every morning to exercise and always orders an early lunch from various places at the food court. He has frequented Sarku many times before, and he has acquired 5 stamps from their frequent diner card. At 5 stamps, the customer is supposed to receive one complimentary dish. Last Saturday he tried to redeem his full card only to be denied. Why? The male representative (maybe the owner?) claimed that the first and second stamp were not stamped DIRECTLY in the middle of the circles!! Have you heard anything so blatantly discriminatory towards aging elders? He claimed that one of the stamps were in between two of the markers so it "didn't count"! He refused to admit that there were indeed 4 stamps on my dad's card and claimed there's only 3 valid ones when THEY are the ones who are stamping the cards, not us. As a Chinese American, I am mortified that a business who behave so miserly and unprofessionally over ONE complimentary dish. Their food is mediocre at best. I can only think that their behavior is discrimination at elderly folks who are unlikely to go on social media to fight back. My dad tore up the card and threw it away, I wish he kept it so I can take a photo and post it here. The whole argument is ridiculous. In the end he went to Hawaiia Grill across the way instead and said the food there was far superior and the service...

5 out of 5 stars – Always Delicious and Reliable!

I’ve been going to Sarku Japan in the Parks Mall food court for years, and it’s hands down my favorite spot to eat there. This time, I ordered the chicken teriyaki with fried rice, and as always, it was absolutely delicious.

The food here is consistently fresh and flavorful. You can even request double meat if you want more chicken, and they’re happy to accommodate. I’ve also tried the chicken chow mein before, and that’s great too. But my go-to is always the chicken teriyaki—it never disappoints.

They serve your food fast—usually in about 3 to 5 minutes, sometimes even faster. My order was ready in less than a minute this time! Everything is cooked fresh and served hot.

Their fried rice, vegetable egg rolls, and chicken dumplings are also very tasty. You can choose between white rice, fried rice, or noodles, and there are options like shrimp teriyaki too. You can even add vegetables if you like.

The atmosphere in the food court is casual and convenient, and I’ve never had an issue dining there. The staff is quick and efficient, and the food has always been consistent over the years.

If you’re at the Parks Mall and want something tasty, fast, and satisfying, I definitely recommend Sarku Japan. Five...

The cashier suggested we order through the Uber Eats app and I was fraudulently charged a tip in the Amount of $4.42. We picked up our food at the restaurant and the driver added a tip even through he never picked up or delivered our food. I want a refund. Uber Eats will not give us a refund. I am contacting the FTC and the Attorney General regarding this fraudulent charge to my credit card and deceptive practices. The cashier was extremely rude and suggest that I ordered through the Uber Eats app

She stated I could get buy one get one free through the app.

I order through the app and I was charged $25.64, which was way to much. The portion was very small and I did not get both my orders.

I paid for double meat and did not get double meat. I was scammed by Uber Eats because I put that I would pick my food up and they charged me a fee to deliver my food when I order at the counter and I picked it up.

I was given the wrong order and I did not realize it until I got back to work. I drove 20 miles to pick up my food and I was scammed.

The food tasted nasty.

I want a refund.

The overall cost of eating Salty Teriyaki Chicken in a styrofoam container should not be almost as much as eating a lunch special in Chillis. Ordered the Teriyaki Chicken with Fried Rice because I have been enjoying it for the last 15 years in a different location in a North Texas Mall. This time I happened to buy it at the Parks Mall in Arlington. The price was $9.79 + taxes. Asked them for a cup of water and they tell me they don't give water and that I have to buy a drink. If I have to buy a drink for $1.99, the meal from a mall outlet like Sarku would be closer to $13.00. Don't you think I would go eat a lunch special in a sit down restaurant, if a salty Teriyaki Chicken served in a styrofoam container would cost me $13.00. Guess what, that's the last I'm buying from Sarku Japan at the Parks Mall in Arlington, TX. As far as the food is concerned, it was the standard Teriyaki Chicken they serve in all of the Sarku Japan outlets. As for me, I think I'm done with eating at Sarku Teriyaki, with this brief experience.

CHEATING BUYERS ON DOUBLE MEAT YET CHARGING FOR IT. We went here every time we were at this mall. Went over on Sunday and ordered shrimp teriyaki with Etrxa shrimp. The meal cost added extra 3.00 for extra shrimp and the portion looked the same as we normally got. When I asked the cook if that was extra he just shook his head and moved on. Talked to the cashier and was told that extra shrimp meant 8 extra onto of the regular 16 which the math did not add up. I would highly suggest NOT spending your money here, the food wasn't that great either this time. I should have read the reviews first as I started seeing more reviews about them cheating people out of double meat when they pay for it.

Sarku Japan has been the most popular food spot inside the Park's Mall for years. The line can get long, but the wait never takes too long, and I promise it's worth it. Their specialty is the teriyaki chicken. It comes with white rice, fried rice or noodles. They also have beef & shrimp, but stick with the chicken. Add on an egg roll or spring roll, and you will walk away full. Great prices & huge portions are also what make this place a crowd pleaser. The only knock might be their drinks. Next time you are at the mall, give Sarku a try. You won't be disappointed!
