ALDI — Local services in Arnold Township

I love shopping at Aldi!! The prices are always great!! Only problem I have is the way the cashiers throw your food in the cart. I understand you have a job to do and people to help but just throwing the food is ridiculous!! Yesterday(12/17/22) morning an older gal had just opened up her lane. She acted like she didn't wanna open up after I headed to her lane and was first. Then the older gal threw my chips in the cart then threw my bread on top like she was playing in the NFL. Stop throwing people stuff 🙄 😒 we work hard for our money and obviously there is a reason most of us shop there. Not all of us rich!! All that money they pay yall show some compassion. Maybe you guys should stand up instead of sitting and throwing footballs. Make them stand up Aldi they get paid just like factory workers to stand for 8hrs to 12hrs. Just a thought..... Don’t recommend using their curbside pick up. I ordered yesterday 10/28 at 5:30pm for a pick up on 10/29 between 10am-11am. I received a text at 9:30am on 10/29 saying my order was delayed that no one from instacart has accepted my order to shop for it. I’m sorry but if you offer curbside pick up you should be able to successfully pick someone’s order in and have it ready in the timeframe they choose.

This next part is silly on me, however, I canceled the order and it told me my payment would be on hold for 10 business days. I’m sorry but 10 business days is very excessive and should NOT take that long to give someone back their money.

I will NEVER use Aldi’s curbside pick up again and I will tell everyone I know to NEVER use it either. Worse experience I’ve ever received.

And to top it all off - Aldi doesn’t have a phone number to contact the store directly, they give you a round about way of getting things done so they don’t have to worry...

Place is crazy busy and hard to navigate. Cashier in such a rush asking for me to insert my debit card before she was even done scanning. She totaled my cart out with not even realizing that there was items underneath my other cart with my child in there. Now asking me to hand her those items while I'm still trying to finish her first request of getting my debit card out and paying. I guess I was taking to long so she started to grab those items under my cart. Then moves my new cart full of groceries over to the bagging counter and sits back down waiting for me to move and starring at me so she can checkout the next customer. This is while my child and my other items are still under the old cart. I understand your busy, but maybe it she wouldn't have been in such a rush in the first place she would have just used my original cart instead of inpatiently waiting for me to have to move my items water, juice soda over to the new cart...
