We have been ordering take out an average of 2 times a week since I have not been feeling well (about 6 months). At first we loved it! I always got the large chicken wing platter and my partner loved the Jamaican burger and fries. About a month and a half ago when we get to my house I bite into a wing and it was bloody inside. Thankfully I was home and was able to continue cooking the wings. Shortly after I would call in the order and ask for the wings to be extra well done. That worked once, the next couple orders seemed to have had a lower quality chicken wing meat and the sauce seemed to have changed...and the wings were under cooked. So we went in person the next couple times, thinking maybe it would be better communicated in person. The wings were acceptable but not crispy the way I like them, but atleast they were cooked enough to eat. Two nights ago my partner stopped on his way home and picked up our usual and he explained that the wings need to be well done. The girl that took our order said they throw the wings in and when they float to the top they pull them out of the fryer. I again had to cook the wings. Tonight my partner knew I still had some wings left so he ordered me an extra large Ceasar salad with no crouton ( knowing I'm illergic to flour products). We opened or dinners and their were no fries with the burger and the Ceasar salad had extra croutons (and not the large ones), was loaded with 2 cups of crumbs, there was no parmesan cheese and it was so drenched with dressing that it was probably enough for 4 salads. At this point we are calling the restaraunt. A man was very unapologetic and said we should bring the food back if we are unhappy so he could see for himself. We explained it is rush hour and not a 5 minute drive. He did call back an hour later and said they assumed the salad was replacing the fries and since he wanted a large that they gave him two salads instead of fries and only charged us for one? Huh? He said next time we come in he will give us extra fries? Come in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWebers has a nice, covered, outdoor seating area which is perfect for us because we take our two Giant Schnoodles Dax and Auggie with us sometimes. I called ahead because of the current situation caused by COVID-19 to ask if they were open, and found out that they were, but they were full and there was a wait. I said we were about 20 minutes away and were wanting to bring our two dogs for an outing and some dinner, and in the past we sat at the table in the corner outside, near the fence. The hostess Lorelei, said she'd be happy to put us on the wait list. We loaded up and left and when we arrived, no wait. Our table was set, and in the corner away from the other guests, as requested. We were seated immediately. I had an appetizer of bone-in buffalo chicken wings which were crisp and buttery and just right spicy, followed by the buffalo chicken sandwich with onion straws. The sandwich came on a long soft bun, like a sub sandwich, cut diagonally in the middle. Chicken was hot, cheese was melted lettuce and tomato were crispy and cold. My wife had the beef brisket tacos which were served with a wonderful barbeque sauce drizzled over them. We had draught beers to drink and they brought a big bowl of ice cold eater for our dogs. GREAT service, great food, great time, at a great price. Webers Front Row in Arnold, at 55 and Richardson Road exit, just a little south of 141. If my review helps you out, please...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOur experience was great. My daughter and I ordered separate entrees and shared a salad. All three were prepared exactly as they should have been (temperature, texture, doneness, etc.) and had great flavor. The Cajun whitefish is extraordinary - super flavorful and expertly cooked. Iāll come back for that alone as I havenāt had fish so good anywhere else in STL, not even in Louisiana. She had the fish tacos and she enjoyed them as well. I tasted - thatās what we do! They were really good as well. The fish was well prepared and the sauce sealed the deal. The salad is unique and had the right amount of dressing and toppings. Love the mushrooms.
The service was great as well. Our server was attentive with drinks and checked in on us appropriately. It was a Thursday evening. We arrived at 4:00 and left at about 5:15. They place filled up nicely and in looking around, others were being served in a timely manner and the food was coming out timely as well.
To add to the great experience, the owner of the restaurant followed up with me via email to ask for feedback on our experience -(I had used a coupon that asked for my email address). I all of my many years of eating out - and we do that a lot - he was the first. He didn't want it sugar-coated and wanted all of the details. As you can see I had only good info to provide. I will continue to recommend this restaurant to...
