Grand Opening Special BOGO these selected drinks -Kung Fu Bubble Milk Tea -Passion Fruit Green Tea -Honey Green Tea -Red Wow Milk
Kung Fu Tea is the latest boba milk tea shop in the saturated market of Cerritos/Artesia. Hearing of Kung Fu Tea in the SGV and other areas, I was eagerly anticipating my first visit to the establishment to take advantage of the special & see what Kung Fu Tea has going on for myself.
"Forever Fresh" is Kung Fu Tea's mission statement. Their tea is brewed every 3 hours, using their signature 7-step method. Speaking of fresh, all of their juices are fresh-squeezed to order, with no concentrates ever. Sweetness can be easily adjusted by request.
Red Wow Milk (large, 50% sweetness) & Honey Green Tea (large, 50% sweetness- Red Wow Milk is comprised of lactose-free whole milk, brown sugar, boba & red beans. I didn't know Kung Fu Tea utilized lactose-free milk, as I was expecting loose poops & farting afterwards, consequences I've long grown accustomed to as a lactose intolerant individual. I found the drink creamy, refreshing & down right delicious. The boba had the right amount of chewiness, and the red beans provided sweetness and the mouthfeel expected from them.
Honey Green Tea had assertive jasmine notes, with the sweetness of honey to balance things out. Delicious on a hot summer day, the Honey Green Tea is not a drink to overlook.
Kung Fu Tea is a drink only establishment. Don't expect to find popcorn chicken, fried tofu or the like here. It's all about the thirst quenching.
Service was good. The staff was ready to answer questions I had & make solid recommendations on what to get.
Seating is minimal. Kung Fu Tea is not a place for large groups. Benches, stools & small tables are inside, with a few tables al fresco.
Parking may be difficult to come by, in a shared private lot anchored by Salo Salo Grill. Street parking is adjacent south of the plaza, with mall parking across Gridley.
Kung Fu Tea is yet another great boba milk tea shop in my area. The drinks are on point, with exception service to match the quality of their products. There's no doubt you'll see my big dome dropping in, slurping on a freshly prepared milk tea & trying not to finish it all in one gulp.

Read moreHonest Review I really like Sesame and Matcha so this was like the perfect combo haha. I got a medium since I am sensitive to caffeine :( FYI I don't really like Boba (don't hate me for it haha)
Sesame Matcha 4/5 The matcha flavor is on the sweet side and not the organic matcha, but pretty good. I really like how I crunch the sesame seeds as I drink the drink ^_^. There is sesame taste due to the power that they used when making the drink.
Only think to keep in mind is that the sugar level cannot be changed and that they use lactaid power so anyone can drink it (lactose free)
I was sad how much ice they gave me :( when I said less ice. If there is more than half ice left after I finished the drink, that means that there was like almost full ice when making the drink. The solution for the story is that I will get no ice next time so that I don't run into this prob haha. Overall one of the good boba places hehe...

This place has AMAZING drinks and very friendly service, but the menu needs a definite upgrade! My orders get messed up a lot because the drink orders on the menu sound very similar to each other and I wind up getting something that I didn't really want 😅 I know! Totally my fault, right? But it happens kinda more than I'd like and I really hate bothering the people who work there and wasting drink supplies...
Is there any way the owners can make a numbered menu so there's no more confusion?
Thank you all so much for what you do here! I look forward to coming back, always. I love the friendly and...
