DEAR OWNER,
In response to your response, we did not place an order for delivery. We placed an order on your app for pickup I appreciate the challenges many business owners are faced and believe that this situation was not handled appropriately. So, again, when we went to PICK UP our order, your team treated us pretty badly. And again, I do not like to write a bad review, but this was a circumstance that needed a review. I am certain not all people are treated this way there, but felt it should have been resolved differently. I have proof of the pick up order if you are interested in seeing it. There was never a delivery order placed. I hope each person goes forward with business in a more appropriate way. And also, we appreciate all people who have to work in these crazy times.
Good luck.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: We placed our order via the app and went to pick it up at 730. The order was just over $30. When we arrived, we were told that someone took our order. My brother sat down to wait for them to remake our order. After 20 minutes, the young man working asked him what he was waiting for and he got frustrated and walked out. I went in to get the order. I wasn't going to let a $30 order go because they gave ours to the wrong person. They were carding other people who came for their orders, by the way. I got pushback from the male kid working. I had to show sincere frustration for him to get on it. He resisted. The two young gals working were trying to make the orders quickly to accommodate. After a total of 25 minutes waiting, we got our subs. The young guy acted like we were an inconvenience when they gave our order to someone else. It was a horrible experience and I won't be back. I can't believe we had to convince them to remake our order. Ridiculous. For the record, I don't write bad reviews very often. This experience was too bad...
Read moreDo not go to this Jersey Mike’s location. The one at Colfax and Wadsworth is much better. This one was filthy, but as it was after the dinner rush, I thought maybe they were still trying to clean up. When I walked in they informed me that they were out of white bread, no big deal, I’ll have it on wheat I only had two requests for my order, light on the vinegar and oil and don’t cut my sandwich in half. Not 10 seconds after I told him To go light on vinegar and oil, he of course, soaks the entire sandwich and vinegar. Then says” Oh, right, you wanted light” Then proceeds to glug on a ton of oil after that he immediately cut my sandwich in half after he did that he didn’t offer to make me a new one. He just said sorry bro it’s a habit.
I don’t get the obsession with Jersey Mike’s of cutting a sub into little tiny 3 inch pieces. I once had a manager come running in from the office cut my sandwich in half and run back in. I’m sure it was a habit has that seem to be the only thing that was drilled into this kids head.
I took the sandwich because I needed to eat and didn’t have time to stop off at any place else. but when you have to work over half an hour to be able to afford a lousy sub, it sure would be nice to get it the way...
Read moreI had the pleasure of picking up a sandwich here and held the door open for an elderly couple coming in (which everyone should be doing) and the gentleman working there called me back in to give me a coupon for my kind gesture. I plan on "paying it forward" and giving this coupon to someone in need in hopes it can help them and hopefully that person will pay it forward to someone else. I guess the reason I felt inclined to write this is because I didn't think I should be rewarded for being kind to someone, it should be ingrained in our society and something we should all practice on a day to day basis. But it's always nice to know in this imperfect world that someone is paying attention to the subtleties where a small kindness to a stranger can go a long way. In conclusion, go here and get a sandwich and be kind to...
