Mutiny Beach — Restaurant in Asbury Park

The ABSOLUTE rudest restaurant I have ever been to!!! The bartender, never got her name, was horrible to both me and my wife!!! We had driven for HOURS to pay homage to The Boss on the release date of his Biopic (October 24th) and had decided to visit Asbury Park and eat at this particular restaurant.

If you notice there's only one picture, it's because my wife and I were treated so bad by the bartender, We left as soon as we finished our drinks. As we were leaving some guy, maybe a bouncer told my wife that the bathrooms were for paying customers only I let him know that we had just had drinks at the bar and he actually yelled across the restaurant to check with the bartender if we were paying customers. I was beyond embarrassed and was becoming livid. My wife didn't even use the bathroom because she saw how livid I had become.

Mutiny Beach is a sister location to Mutiny BBQ location. The BBQ is amazing with an expanded menu and great ambience. On thr Asbury Park boardwalk, this will be a top summer spot.

Great beer and drink selections along with some of the best BBQ you will find anywhere. I went with the Bacon Bama Turkey sandwich which was perfect. Fries are great and so are the pickles. My daughter got the brisket and loved it along with the mac and cheese and the cornbread casserole. We also got some wings for the table which were on point.

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, I wasn’t very impressed. I ordered the brisket sandwich. It was served on a cold, slightly stale roll. Although the server said it was a “decent sized” sandwich, it hardly had any meat and a barely detectable amount of onions. The meat itself lacked the smoky flavor associated with BBQ, and was a bit dry. It came with the smallest size of Cole slaw I’ve ever seen, and one pickle slice.
