Wow I’m so disappointed and disturbed. I have celiacs and ordered 2 gluten free double patty burgers. When I got home they were only singles. Unfortunately my order was for my child and I to share a burger and the other to my husband. Well since they were only singles I didn’t get any food. When I called to ask if they could credit back the amount for the double I would appreciate it. Well I was told I was a liar and that she made them herself and knows it was a double. Well in that case you gave me someone else’s order and I have now eaten gluten and am in for a hell of a time. Possibly even the hospital. So either I’m going to be wrecked cause you have me the wrong order. Or you in fact we’re actually lying and refused to own up to your mistake. She said there is no proof. Customer is WRONG at this establishment. Can’t believe I was treated so horrible. I didn’t even ask my food to be free. I only asked to be charged for what I got. But no they stole my money and laughed about it and hung up the phone on me when I tried to explain. Will never return. Not to mention it wasn’t very good anyway. WOW, can not believe I've never eaten here before. This is not hyperbole, literally the best burger / french fries I think I've ever eaten. I'm originally from NYC which automatically makes me a "food snob". This place is for real. The French fries were cooked & lightly salted to absolute perfection, the burger, 2 delicious patties on a nice soft bun and fresh, crunchy toppings. To top it, finally a milk shake blended the way a milk shakes meant to be. Why most places feel the need to make their shakes so thick you need to pop em in the microwave so you can drink from a straw is beyond me! Not this place... The folks running the restaurant could not have been more welcoming and although everything looks to be cooked to order, food came out very fresh n fast. I've "got no dog in the fight", rarely if ever do reviews, good or bad, but when your experience was as good as the one I just had, I felt compelled. In the near future I look forward to trying other menu items. The chicken sandwiches, hot dogs and covered fries other customers were clearly enjoying are on the list. Best burgers in town!! I've been coming here for years and the quality has been consistently exceptional. I dont know what the fuss is about with their customer service on other reviews. They have been friendly to me, and I suppose customer service is going to lack due to covid and every kitchen in the US being short staffed. I think people should take that into consideration when leaving a review for other to see. Since I've worked in the restaurant business for years, I can understand that being short staffed equals not so great service. They are trying their best and the burgers speak for themselves. My only qualm with the place is that it is downtown and if I want a burger to go it is a whole thing. I have to find a parking space, which is almost impossible to find one near the restaurant. Pay for parking, walk to the restaurant, order, wait, then walk back quickly before my burger gets soggy. This isn't their fault though. But I do have to be pretty determined to go...
