My wife and I were in town for her 50th birthday, we came in town late so we decided to try Foggy Mountain. What a nice place to come and get awesome local beers and excellent scratch made food!!! The selection of craft beer was great and the food was stellar!! She ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger and I got the Taco special which was seared Tuna with asian slaw, and grilled chicken and spicy sauce. My gourmet tacos were only $6.50 for two and the burger was $10. Pints of local beer were only $5 or $16 for a pitcher!!! I'm glad we found this little gem on our trip; awesome food, beer and service!!!! Best plan is to get a close by Air b&b, hang around in the craft beer district, and get an UBER home!!!! Can't wait to come back!!!!!

Please like my reviews and photos if you find it useful! This is second time going. Got a sandwich which was pretty amazing. My favorite item is the chips and beer cheese dip. It's worth fighting over or even taking home for a midnight snack. The beer menu is rotated with various types/flavors/brands. I have never been a beer drinker so I expertise are super limited in that area. All the soda foundation drinks were out or not working, but most people come for the alcoholic drinks or the food. The food was my reason. The servers were very helpful. The wait for food is sort of timely but definitely worth the wait. FYI: ITS DOWNTOWN AND PARKING WILL BE DIFFICULT.

An absolute perfect brew pub experience. A classic building on a side street that has easy parking nearby. When you walk in the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting with old wood floors, brick walls and minimalist furnishings. The beer selection is solid with a out a dozen different choices. The food menu isn't huge but it is diverse and really well executed. The mac-n-cheese with bratwurst was incredible and the Cuban sandwich was perfect. The topper was the great people and service they provided. I will definitely be back.

I’m a tourist (I know, shut up) from Chicago and heard about this place at Sierra Nevada. IT IS AWESOME. I came on a Friday night and there was great live music - like, really, who plays King of the Road anymore?? Aka my FAVORITE Dean Martin (cover) song ever??? All of the bartenders are great. The owner is awesome. This is a great space featuring local brews, local art, a great crowd of regulars and non-regulars, and a great vibe. You will not be disappointed. Amidst all of the breweries in Asheville, it’s easy for a cool, hip little bar to get lost in the fray. But, trust me, your time is well spent at Foggy. I had two other breweries on my itinerary to visit tonight, and I didn’t hit either one because I was here. And I don’t regret it one bit. The next time I’m in the area, you’ll find me here. Just yell, “Hey, Chicago!” and I’ll probably yell back, “Dafuq you want?” Affectionately, of course.

Edit: came back and had the ghost burger and I’m so embarrassed to admit it was a little too spicy for me. I have to turn in my South Asian card...

Used to go twice a week but they really went downhill. Changed the menu and the wings have been dry the last FIVE times I ordered them. I even asked for extra wet, extra saucy. I went back a lot to see if it would get better because I was a diehard Foggy fan. Now they aren’t bringing the Alfredo back?! Nope that’s it. I will definitely be going to East Village instead from now on.

*Response to owner - First of all the wings have also been dry as in overcooked. Furthermore I specifically called talked to the staff and asked verbatim “Are you planning on bringing back the Alfredo” was told be your staff “No we’re not” I asked if they knew the recipe and they said no, soooooo my review is based off what your employees said and I stand behind my statement about the wings. As I said I have been many times and had the same issue. It’s not like I went one time and I’m complaining. I used to love FM and I brought dozens of people there for their first time so don’t get it twisted, this didn’t come...

Cute pub downtown featuring local art 🖼 💘

I was supposed to meet a friend here for lunch but as soon as I got downtown I got a meeting request and we had to get everything to go. I called in our order and was told 15 minutes, but it was actually 30. The fries were good and plentiful so my friend and I split them and she also got the wings. She said they were good with the medium sauce and without. She always gets them because they are whole wings unlike most bars that only serve the small drumettes. 🍗

It’s a small, cozy space that feels very much like a local neighborhood bar with friendly servers and good food 🥙. They have a small outdoor patio behind the pub, that we found accidentally when looking for parking in the lot nextdoor (assigned parking only 9am-5pm). There is street parking all around and the nearest garage is Biltmore Ave (where we ended up parking).

I definitely recommend this pub for good service and a...
