I had the most horrible experience here tonight, i was here with a group of about 15 people and was buying good drinks and tipping well but my husband got a drink with a lime that was half brown. My husbands drink was ruined by the rotten lime and i asked Taylor the bartender if she could help because the drink was awful. The second i mentioned it to her she said i was wrong and there was nothing she could do i tried to explain to her that the lime was rotten and can ruin a drink but she was not going to have that. Instead of arguing with her even after her awful attitude and absolutely horrible service i ordered and paid for 2 more shots and another drink to replace the one that was awful. I went back to my table and shortly afterward the bouncer Jacob came to the table i was sitting at and asked everyone i was sitting with to leave the bar as soon as our drinks were finished. I was more than shocked! I could not believe what was happening! I have also been a server and a customer service manager and i also have never taken the time to write a review but this was the most awful horrible service i have ever gotten. It didnt even end there, my husband made a small remark about the bad service and the bouncer grabbed him up as if he had done something wrong and physically threw him out of the bar for absolutely no reason. I think these people need to be replaced quickly. They threw everyone i was with out of the bar for no reason other than the fact that i had told them that i had a rotten lime in our drink. I still cant believe it. I will never go there again and the bartender Taylor and bouncer Jacob should never work in customer service again. OMG they almost let some of thier regular customers fight us in the street over this. Please please remember I am not lying and wouldnt even take the time out of my day to write this but it was truly that horrible! Do not visit this...
Read moreRated top in Asheville for Burgers, so we had to try it. Outdoor street side seating available, as well as indoor seating. It was first come, first served. QR code’s on table once scanned bring up food and beverage selections. When ready to order you need to personally place the order inside at the bar. Fortunately the people dining with us had already been here and knew the drill because no one at the establishment provided any direction. Also known for their cocktails, we indulged in those as well. I enjoyed the OH Bee-Hive with jalapeño and pineapple infused tequila, honey, lemon, and orange. Happy to say the cocktail didn’t have that artificial jalapeño flavor that is often found in cocktails. There was subtle heat at the finish but not overly sweet. Others enjoyed the flavor of the day adult slushie which was Frappe, and a ginger martini. All enjoyed their beverages. On the menu are salads, sandwiches, tacos, and burgers. The “Vault Burger” is topped with bacon, white cheddar, spiced mayo, arugula, and red onion. They’ve got it down to a science; get it “as is”. Beef tasted like you were eating a steak. Complimented perfectly with the arugula and onion which tasted like it was dressed in a lite lemon vinaigrette. Really good….and thick. Side choices are tater tots, fingerling potatoes, or chips. Skip the gator tots, nothing special. The fingerling potatoes looked yummy though! This place is popular and fills up quickly so you might want to plan ahead and arrive early. Inside is the interior eating area and bar which was quite noisy making it difficult for table conversation. Prices...
Read moreWe were so excited to try the restaurant for the first time & were tickled to see a street window to pick up our order. We stood at the window for possibly 5-7 minutes and although we were looked at through the window no one came to assist. A man was walked up to the window from behind the bar and the passed by going outside to smoke a cigarette. Ok. No biggie maybe it's break time. We decided to go inside to pick up the order instead. We waited behind a man who appeared to have paid but was there talking with the waitress. After about 5 more minutes of no one greeting us the woman behind the counter finally decides to greet us. We told her about our pick up and she left to grab our order. My wife paid for the order & the lady quickly grabbed it and left to greet another woman who happened to be the same complexion as her, at the street window where we could not get assistance to begin with. She never finished with returning our change. As we left talking about our experience we heard the women laughing loudly...The lady at the street window & the waitress that once assisted us. Although the burgers were good the service...
