Olive Garden Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Ashland

Yo! This place was great! Had been gone for a while, knew an OG was coming to the mall and was excited to try it. It took a few minutes to be seated though there were a lot of empty tables, so I'm assuming they just didn't have a ton of staff. No biggie, wasn't a long wait for seating. Walking through to be seated, everything was sparkling clean. We got Dakota as a server and he was everything you'd want in a server! Well put together, quick, friendly, checking in on us throughout the meal frequently, never had a dry mouth but wasn't in our faces interrupting our meal and conversation. The only sort of issue we had was trying to go to the restroom. It's been moved to the far back of the restaurant by the kitchen, so u have to walk through the whole place to get there. That part is fine, if there's enough room to do so. Mostly there is, but in the back it gets pretty cramped. The section before the bathroom is pretty squeezed because there's a booth area on each wall and they did a large table in the middle. That was a bit too much for the space. Trying to carry my baby and a diaper bag through there and I am fairly certain I concussed an octogenarian with the diaper bag. If there's nobody sitting at the party table it seems like it would be alright, but larger people, people carrying things, or people using a mobility device may struggle to get to the restroom. We requested a table online for the waitlist which was super convenient and easy! I enjoyed being able to check in and see what number in line we were. It took about half the time they estimated for a table which was good. Overall, the food was delicious. Although, We had an issue with our food coming out in a timely manner. We didn’t receive our appetizers during our dine in experience. However, the manager was nice enough to take it off the bill and still box it up for us to take home. Our waitress also did not keep us updated on anything so we waited about 1.5 hours for entrees. It was slightly frustrating because we had two small kids with us that were crying for their food while I had my meal. My kids wouldn’t eat any of my food so I had my meal before everyone else at the table. I think the actual Olive Garden experience was good but there is room for improvement! Everyone was friendly and worked to fix any issues we had. Restaurant was clean and set up nicely. Atmosphere was nice. There was a tight squeeze for waitresses/waiters to deliver food to people. It’s just a small area for the bulky salad set-up they come around with. I would definitely still eat here again though. It’s a nice restaurant to eat at. Olive Garden inside the mall in Ashland Ky. 9 days ago we went here to eat for the first time. Our waitress name was Ava. When were looking at the menu on the table top thing when she showed up. It was glitching so she took our order after she had asked if we dropped it because it was glitching out and we told her no. Then we get charged for games that we didnt do. There were people around us this whole time that would of knew if we dropped it. She was hateful the whole time we was there barely even coming to our table to see if we needed anything. We went to pay on the table device when she told us not too amd to give her our information. We refused and paid on the device. When she brought our receipts over she then said it would work right if it wasnt dropped. We went to the manager on duty which was a guy. We explained and told him we would not be returning. He took my email and said he would send a 50.00 gift card. Today makes 9 days and it has never been sent to me. Sad place! I will NEVER EVER return to this place nor would I recommend...
