This place is a mix of modern furnishings, seemingly homemade recipes, and great food!

When I was here I got the hungry meal, which got me (7) chicken tenders, fries, two pieces of garlic toast, and a drink.

The chicken tenders have a homemade esque taste to them, and are advertised as being made in buttermilk, I can agree with that, they are delicious, and the two sides of sauce that came with my meal actually weren't useful because of how well the tenders were seasoned.

The fries were regular run of the mill fries, mine weren't crispy or cold, just, mediocre, which is okay, because the toast and the chicken more than made up for them.

The chicken tenders themselves all comes with the same batter, the differences comes in which sauce you get. So, no worries about getting something hot in the batter with the tenders, though I've heard that the chicken sandwich, and obviously the wings are different.

This place also has a variety of cake jars available (a friend made these in Florida, that's how I know the name of them.) they come in a variety of flavors, both in chocolate varieties, and strawberry variety(ies) and according to a staff member they do have seasonal flavors as well. They are $4.95 and you get to keep the glass Mason jar it comes in =)

The cleanliness of this restaurant was top notch, even for a dinner rush (I was here at around 5p).

The staff is present in the dining area at all times, and brings your food to you according to a number given upon ordering, and in my personal experience, took my trash when I was finished.

Side notes: This establishment has a drive through This place does have restrooms. This place does have outdoor seating.

If it's important to you, this place uses coke a cola products, at a self-serve station, and also has hi-c juice available and a lemonade machine.

Slim Chickens = Cheat Day Heaven (That Barely Feels Like Cheating

Slim Chickens has officially become my go-to spot for cheat day — except it barely feels like cheating because the food is just that fresh and high-quality. Sure, I load up on the calories (because how could you not?), but the ingredients are clean, the portions are generous, and I never walk away feeling gross or regretful.

Let’s talk sauce: their signature sauce, buffalo, and hot options are straight-up addictive. I could dunk pretty much anything in them and be happy — fries, tenders, napkins, whatever. And the mac and cheese? Easily some of the best in the area, and trust me, this town doesn’t play around when it comes to mac and cheese.
