This place sucks. Not recommended. Get there waiter tells us to sit down. We sit down takes them like 5 minutes to bring out menus and another 10 minutes to ask us what we want to drink. Another 15 minutes pass no drinks, I go up to the register and ask for the hot tea I asked for and she says okay. Brings it out and there’s a single tea bag in a tea pot full of hot water. Takes them another 5 after bringing my hot tea for the Dr Pepper in the second order. While longer she comes to take our order, have to tell her 3 times the meal number before she gets it.. ask for pan fried noodles. $2 extra okay.. so food comes after a decent time, and the noodles are super skinny hard noodles. I tell her I asked for pan fried, thinking of every other Chinese place I have gone too their noodle are soft pan fried. She says no this our house pan special noodle. You want low mein? Sure. She snags the fork out of my hand and starts pushing the food off the plate onto another. So I get the low mein and it tastes like salty dirt with chicken. My king pao wasn’t even a tad spicy and she tells me I have to ask for spicy. After all that they try to charge me full price for the extra noodles....
Read moreTried this restaurant for the first time this week. I had pad thai because it came with rice noodles instead of wheat. I have to say, it was VERY delicious, possibly the best tasting Pad Thai I have had. Five stars for yum! Also, the woman who waited on me was very nice and I always appreciate that. I also like that they have lunch specials, as the price of restaurants in Ashland is a bit prohibitive for me. I took a star off for two reasons. One is because my meal was all noodles. Usually when I get a pad tie, it has a few greens, and maybe onions and carrots. This literally had no vegetables! Oh, excuse me, there were bean sprouts. In the picture you can see carrots on the side. They were raw carrots, which did not go with the soft noodles for me, so I did not eat them. I also took a star off because there was only one (or two?) Vegetarian Options in the lunch specials. All in all, though, based on taste and service, I would recommend...
Read moreI have to say I will never return to this restaurant. The food was so bad that we left having ate very little. I ordered Mar Far Chicken and Spring Rolls. Both were so greasy that, that was all you can taste. I know that both are fried but I have never had either of those dishes taste like pure vegetable oil. In addition to that, there was an unknown object in my rice. I pointed it out and was told I wouldn’t have to pay for it. Which I did end up paying for. We were never offered beverages. We received water after sitting for 10 minutes before anyone even approached our table. It was relatively busy, so we were patiently waiting. The table that was seated after us was helped first and offered water, tea, etc. All in all it was a terrible experience and the food was so horrible that we left it all behind. I paid $25 for a terrible meal and went home...
