I go to this Taco Bell about three to five times a month for my lunch breaks the last two months. Sadly, The last three times I have visited this place in the last three weeks have been horrible. Idk if there is new management or the team is understaffed, but it needs to be fixed. Last two times I have visited the line has just taken way way too long with not that many vehicles.. the line lately can take any where from 10 minutes to 30 depending on the line BEFORE you order. I assume that is understaff. At least post signs that you need more time and will take longer than normal. Not such a big deal. I had to leave that time barely moving in the line when there isn’t a car past the ordering screen… sitting, and waiting to even start ordering. Quite disappointed. THIS time. Get off work, come over and make an online mobile order. There are 6 cars in line. One is sitting at the menu screen for maybe 10 minutes. Then move off. I don’t think they even got food. I didn’t notice. Another ones goes and sits for minutes on end. Then leaves. We are all waiting. I pull up, and patiently wait. 5 minutes go by, and nothing. The screen still shows some pre-order ads. So we call, and the number to that store we were at directs us to another stores city over… really? As we are on the phone getting questions about the 30 bucks we just sent in some guy gets on the mic after about 15 minutes and tells us he is closed… no signs, nothing to warn any one that they are wasting their time here. Not one warning. Couldn’t gene get on the mic much before that and say anything while we sit there and waste our time. The app woudlnt even let us cancel and google said they are open. No signs saying the hours changed either. What is this?? One of the few fast food places in Ashland and we got that?? And the multiple bad experiences in a row about timing and communication for this store?? Wack. Unfortunately I just feel like I’m wasting my time here and get stuck every time I’m there now. The food is always old and cold, but for some reason I still keep going probably cause my daughter loves Taco Bell and I don’t wanna drive to the next town But tonight tonight was a cherry on top. I went inside, hoping that the food might be fresher because you know they have to see my face. See what they’re serving me. Not like they have to do in the drive thru. I order we sit down, We wait about 10 minutes we start to eat and then somebody comes and locks the doors and tells me you won’t be able to come back in if you leave so don’t go outside until you’re done. I said OK thank you very much a few minutes later and employee comes over and says I’m really sorry but we close at 10 so we usually give people about 10 to 15 minutes to finish eating and then you have to leave I said OK thank you for letting me know. I Continue to eat and not even a minute later a different employee comes up and says I’m really sorry, but our dining room closes at 10. We are gonna have to have you leave. I said no no you’re joking nobody does that. Nobody kicks people out when they ordered before closing!! So not only do they serve old cold food but then they wanna stop you in the middle of eating and make you leave oh and not to mention, they had no straws so we had to drink a Freeze and soda with no straw! I place a mobile order (908259) for a Nacho fries box and a beef Quesarito. I only received a drink with no ice, a bag with a Quesarito, nacho cheese, and a taco. I'm glad I checked.
I went back through the drive through and explained the issue to the girl handling payments, she spoke with a kitchen member who then came to the window. I told him my issue. His simple reply was that "we're out of fries, get a refund through the mobile app.". He did not offer a replacement and they did not inform me of this until I came back through. He went off to go make the 5 layer burrito, cutting off my question.
I'm very dissatisfied that not only was there no ice in my beverage, there were 2 items missing, that one of them I was told to place a refund request for (which is both inconvenient, and a non-existent function of the mobile app - so I was basically deceived / stolen from), but most importantly that when this place makes a mistake, they make you feel like it's your fault.
