We haven’t even gotten home yet and I am writing this review. We are pretty displeased with how we were treated at this facility. I want to start with saying- the food was delicious. Our waitress was AMAZING. She was kind, speedy, kept checking in on us, and working hard. We had two major issues. Definitely first world problems, but we are both college kids with little to no money and saved up for a long time in order to come here. Issue one: The App lies. My boyfriend had gotten the app where it tells you when you click REWARDS101 that if you spend $15 you get $15 worth of credits. Good deal, right?? Says it right in the app. He did it and it didn’t do anything. He didn’t get any emails for the rewards either. He went up and asked about it to see if it can be corrected, and he was just told ‘oh that’s not right. But we don’t control the app.’ And that was it. Having worked in customer service ever since I was legally able to have a job, and same with him, we were pretty upset. We were under the assumption by the app we would get double and we didn’t and the attitude that was given was not appreciated. We wouldn’t have bought the $15 if the correct information would have been given and there’s no refunds. $15 is maybe 9 games for two people, four each and one spare, while we were planning on double, 170 tokens instead of 85. Frustrated, but we continued to play since we didn’t want to waste the money. Issue two: machine broke. All was well, but then we played tons of tokens and it had broke on us, we were supposed to win 300 tokens and the screen had gone black and error codes popped up. After a minute, it went back to the main screen as if nothing happened and we didn’t get the tickets. A 100 band and a 200 band. We went up and talked to the prize area- we waited and waited to talk to the guy there but he was too busy laughing and chatting with a customer. To be fair, it was the customer who kept coming back to talk but we were standing right in front of him waiting to ask him a question. He saw us but never acknowledged us, continued laughing and chatting with that guy. Finally I had enough and went to the lady behind the desk. She was super sweet and helpful. She asked the guy and boy did he have attitude. Just told us go to the machine someone will be there. I looked to my partner as we were walking to the machine and he agreed that he was very unpleasant, as if we were a complete burden and disrupting his fun chat time. We went to the machine, explained to the guy what happened, and he mumbled something and just walked away before I could register and ask him to repeat! We waited there and nothing. We were pretty frustrated and after waiting we decided to leave.
As I said, first world problems, but this trip had taken us months to save up for. I live paycheck to pay check with many medical bills taking up any savings and my partner is a full time student and works when he can to help. This was my first time going out and doing something fun for myself in almost a year, first time trying to let loose and relax after the passing of my brothers and it was horrendous at the second half, how we were treated ruined everything. The food and waitress were absolutely delightful, our waitress was a blessing but everyone else other than the lady working prize desk and our waitress made it a horrible experience. Will not be coming to this establishment any time soon and won’t recommend...
Read moreI’m so sorry to leave a not-so good review.... but I want to be honest. I went there last night with my friend for dinner. I knew it was only their second day open, so I figured it would be super busy - but it wasn’t!? Guess I’m grateful for that! Walked in and was told to seat myself. Almost all the tables were open, so we sat down and waited to be served. And we waited. And we waited........ nobody came up to us at all. I flagged someone down to see if they could take my order. Our server never walked over with water or glasses or anything, which I thought was odd- but not a big deal at all. We ordered margaritas, and they forgot the booze? Neither of us could taste any alcohol in our drinks! THEY DONT EVEN HAVE THE PRICES ON THE MENU!! You have to ask the price. The server told me they were like $4.75 each, and that it was happy hour so they were half off. Come to find out, the $4.75 was the half off price!!! Yikes! I can’t imagine spending almost $10 on a tiny glass of ice with flavored margarita mix, especially when they’re The weakest drinks we’d ever had! We placed our orders and waited about 25 minutes for the food. I got a cheeseburger- and it was just ok. It was extremely salty with about 10 French fries on the side. No condiments at the tables. No napkins either. My friend had chicken, and she really liked it. After eating, we went to play games. The games are about $1.00 a game per person, and it goes quick! We played the basketball game, and you get 30 seconds to throw basketballs in the hoop. I thought the games were overly quick and overly priced, but hey..... I knew that going into it so wasn’t upset about that. Overall, we did not enjoy the experience. I think a host should seat you, that way they can notify a server that there is a customer waiting for service. I must have seen 6-7 employees standing around doing nothing, just chit chatting with each other. I’m assuming they had all these employees because they thought it would be busier? The employees should always come and check and see if you’ve been helped, so hopefully they work on that! I’m not exaggerating about the wait! We waited about 10 minutes before we waver a gentleman down. I was trying to get the attention of the employees, but even though we were making eye contact, no one approached us. I’m assuming they thought someone already served us? Who knows. Also, my food was not good and expensive, and obviously the drinks need a lot of work. Hopefully they will start adding more alcohol (or atleast some) to the drinks and implement change to the menu so that the prices are listed. This is a brand new restaurant, so I’m willing to go back after a few months and see how they’re doing. I thought this would be my new go-to place a couple times a week, but at this point.... no....
Read moreMy first time there was all positive. Fun games, good drinks, helpful service. Maybe next time we'll try their food too.
Update - we visited again and decided to get dinner. The experience was pretty terrible and I can't imagine dining there again. First we were told to sit where we like. After waiting ten minutes without a server coming by we figured we had to order using their app as instructed by the labels on the table. I proceed to place our order. Unfortunately you can only specify 10 letters so I couldn't even order a kids hamburger with pickles. Their only option is a kids cheeseburger meal so I opted for "no cheese" as my instruction. After another 10 minutes without even getting the waters I ordered, a waitress finally comes by and asks us to move. She says the section we're sitting in isn't open at the moment. I explain that we already ordered using the app. She goes to talk to the manager. Five minutes later she returns to tell us she'll be able to wait on us where we are. Still we have no drinks. A few minutes later, right before I was about to get up and take my family to the food court in the mall she brings our drinks. Says our food should be up shortly. I know a lot of places are short staffed right now but waiting 45 minutes when 80%of the tables were empty is ridiculous. It was all topped of by very subpar food. The kids meal hamburger was okay, the kids meal pizza was gross - small, nearly all hard thin crust, with little sauce and cheese. My youngest wouldn't eat it even though pizza is normally his favorite food. Instead we all gave him our fries. All the servings were small too when considering comparable restaurants and the prices. We may be back but only for the games. If you're looking for dinner and games I'd recommend happy Joe's or...
