Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Ashwaubenon

Went to scooters today as usual. It’s always my go to spot before I go to work for my daily 10-12 hour shift.. but this experience is so different and so wholesome compared to any that I have had before. A very common question is , what’s your plans today? Where do you work ? I told him that I was in fact a manager at my job. I’m not sure if I just looked absolutely burnt out and tired (because I definitely am) but he went out of his way to tell me that I am doing an amazing job at what I do because it’s so hard, especially right now. I don’t think he understands how much that actually meant to me. The restaurant industry is suffering so badly and some days it’s very repetitive and defeating. I didn’t tell him that I cried before work because I didn’t want to go another day, but I pulled out of that drive thru and shed some happy tears. I don’t remember the last time I cried happy tears. So please whoever was working the drive thru handing out drinks at about 11:27 AM today. Please let him know that I appreciated his kind words more than anything and it genuinely made my entire day. If there was anything positive that came out of my day today, it was stopping at scooters and chatting with him for a minute or two. Give this person a raise. His empathetic soul truly...

i cannot handle how much people rave about this place. I’ve tried several drinks(not purchased, given to me from someone else) and hated all of them. They changed their energy drinks and they are now chalky. I’ve tried their lattes and can clearly see they know little to nothing about coffee. I’ve tried to ask basic questions about coffee or their drinks and no one has ever been able to answer. They don’t know what roast they have for coffee and they were unable to tell me what syrups they use. I know they are supposed to upsell. I know people that have worked there for short periods of time. (if they don’t they get yelled at) But being screamed at through the drive thru speaker is the last thing I need. It’s interesting that they are trying to be overly friendly at the speaker but once you get to the window or try to speak to management, you’re an inconvenience. I’ve also been told about the homophobic manager. I don’t think he’s working at the oneida st one anymore but I’ve been told horror stories about how he talks and treats the employees. Ordered two iced coffees with oat milk & vanilla, basic order. Both came out after 5min of waiting with visible layers to the drink as they haven’t been stirred at all (by it self isn’t the end of the world to just shake it up quick). But then upon tasting, this was clearly warm coffee, dumped over ice! So much so that the cups were warm to the touch and what little ice was left was quickly melted.

That evening had no time to stop back in or immediately go back to the window as our schedule did not allow.
