At first, looking at the menu, I hesitated because the prices seemed relatively high. However, this place is absolutely worth every penny. The vegetables are incredibly fresh, the plating is elegant, and the service is exceptionally kind.

I ordered the avocado toast, chicken sandwich, Mexican cola, and coffee. The avocado toast came with what tasted like cucumbers and pickled radish on top, along with a very generous portion of avocado. It had a sophisticated flavor, quite unlike typical avocado toasts from other places. It reminded me a bit of the savory and rich taste you get from poke. You might think, "What's all the fuss about avocado toast?" but it was genuinely that delicious. The subtle hint of Asian poke flavor made it a truly unique experience.

The chicken sandwich also had a very generous amount of chicken, and the accompanying French fries were perfectly crispy and delicious. You could tell they use high-quality beans for their coffee as well.

I highly recommend this restaurant; it truly added to my wonderful memories of Aspen. I hope you get to visit and experience it for yourself! The staff were incredibly kind and genuinely moved me with their service. Since the restaurant is located inside a hotel, parking was very convenient, and the restrooms were spotless. I honestly have no negative memories of this excellent establishment. A 20% service charge is automatically added, but it felt completely justified given the outstanding experience. I definitely want to visit again when I'm...

Sad to say that this was a disappointing breakfast. Based on the reviews 4 of us were looking forward to this breakfast. After working in high end restaurants and 5 star resorts our expectations were high. So here we go; the place is just a cafe inside the Gant hotel. The seats were dusty but we kept in mind that it is mostly outside sitting. It was 9:40 am and they were already out of many items. We started with coffees but my capuchino tasted burnt. We ordered the pancakes but only one order came because guess what” they ran out” no fresh OJ available, and we know is Aspen but 2 small pancakes for $22 dollars seemed a bit too much. For that amount we thought it was a stack. The flavour was plain nothing out of the ordinary. The presentation of the Omelet was very poor , it looked like someone put it together at home in a rush. The french toast by far, way better than the pancakes. Over all this was not a place we would recommend to our friends or guest.

Plus after an hour, one person in our party got food poisoning. So this experience turned out to be one we...

Lovely restaurant but unfortunately I was really disappointed with both the food and service. I really hoped the 45 minute wait would be worth it, but everything but the fresh squeezed orange juice was a let down. We ordered the chicken and waffles, and the Turkey Royale. The chicken on the waffles was almost too dry to eat, and the waffle was a dry multigrain and spice mess. The focaccia on the sandwich was an insult to bread (picture attached). Completely burned on half the sandwich. Wanting to leave, we see the check already has a 20% auto gratuity (party of two). This would have been fine, I’d almost never tip less, but we only had contact with the waitress about 3 times before the check, and were never asked how our meals were. Our order was messed up which resulted in my chicken and waffles “dying in the window”. For $50 a person (no alcohol) I expect a lot better. Maybe it was an off day, but nothing was done to rectify the situation that any other server would have seen.

What a gem!! I was back in town cat-sitting, walking my favorite childhood walk, and came across Origin. I returned the next day for a delicious peppermint mocha. I was going for a coffee but was told how delicious the mocha was…and it sure was! Over the course of the week I returned for vegan huevos rancheros, made with a tofu scramble, and a breakfast burrito. Yeah vegan options! All were simply delicious. The burrito was packed with veggies and potatoes :) My aunt had a wonderful salad with squash! Their focus on local ingredients is appreciated. The staff is kind, helpful, engaging, and just lovely! Proud that this spot is locally owned! Go sit by the fireplace, enjoy a delicious meal, and a delightful chat with the owner and staff! What a beautiful edition to the Aspen food scene.
